Depends on how I'm playing.
Normal plays usually get the name "Xion" or "Sin"
When I play a game just to dick around, I use the name "Dickz McBalls"

Male or female, serious game or goofy game, my characters are always, ALWAYS "Beast Handbone." Of course, there is a story behind this name, which, simplified, goes like this: I was creating an Oblivion character oh-so-long ago and wasn't taking the character creation very seriously. Upon approaching my name, I jokingly said "BEAST!" My brother, whom was in the room, inexplicably replied with "hambone!"
"Hambone?!" I exclaimed. At which point he said, for some unknown reason, "no, no... hand-bone," while waving his hand in my face, wiggling his fingers. Thus, Beast Handbone was born.

My main file on a Zelda game is always Zelda. Not for any special lines or anything, just when I was three I thought that was Link's name.
Other than that, I tend to be really pretentious and come up with personalities and backstories for my characters and name them off of that. I usually have a Nechti, though.
