Have you heard of respect? If you're in a relationship, you don't go around flirting with other girls while your girlfriend is right there. At least, not if you want her to stick around.

No, it's definitely not cheating, but I at least see her point. If that was enough to cause a breakup though, they probably had other problems.

I wouldnt call what he did flirting, since it was to some random person on MSN.

The boobs thing was a bit far, but theres is absolutely nothing wrong with complimenting someone when in a relationship. He could have chosen a better word than hot, but if she goes "people called me ugly" and you go "your not ugly, your cute/pretty/ good looking" Then theres nothing wrong with it.

So...wait. If this line of thought is correct all those backrubs I got from one of my closest friends while she was married to another close friend were all acts of infidelity on her part because she touched a man who was not her husband? Even though he didn't particularly mind it?

Heres a little discussion that id like to get some adivce on. cause recently my friends broke up cause he called another girl hot on msn and said she had big boobs.

How old is your friend? This matters a lot. No offence but by the way you type you can't be older than 18 so relationships are much different in that age group.

I don't have a lot to add to this discussion though, so I'll just be leaving.

Seriously? Cheating is when one party or the other has fucked someone outside of the relationship. kissing, hugging, admiring or otherwise is HUMAN NATURE. get over your insecurites and move on. If they want to make a huge deal out of it you leave their ass and get something better. People need to realize that the world is not centralized against themselves. Have some confidence in yourself and get with someone you trust to NOT do the crap you hate. And even if the do you have the great option of leaving them and making them feel like shit.

OT; that is not cheating I think the girl has some insecurity issues and feels threatened by any creature with the XX chromosome. Hell its nature to look even in a monogamous relationship. Even have a celebrity crush or a few.

I say stuff like that all the time to my girlfriend, but then she's bi so she just says "yeah they are pretty big". In fact, she's often the one pointing that stuff out to me.

Everyone has different views on what they consider acceptable though.

Sounds like me, I am usually the one pointing out the hot girls for the man or finding him to good porn to watch. (after I already watched it)

Let us not forget that, historically, the most common family design is NOT the 'nuclear family' of a husband, wife, and kids. The most common family in mankind's history is one man, multiple women (a harem), and their children.
