Church Protesting San Diego Comic-Con For "Idol Worship"

Since when does going to a convention about comic book characters-who's powers, abilities, and exploits are no more real than, say, Noah's ark or Jesus walking on water- Idol worship? And even if it is idol worship, what ya gonna do about it? Freedom of religion!

Who the hell started this church anyway? 4chan? I have 5 dollars saying they worship the patron saint of trolls.

I agree entirely. I mean, it's not like all us Christians are prudish, whiny, crazed Bible-thumpers. The Westboro Baptist Church is a great example of taking things way too seriously, Doing It Wrong, and... urgh blurgh urgh. I'll have to start my own dang religion, a religion that is the anti-WBC...

All Westboro does is take the Bible seriously. Cracks me up when the watered-down, cherry-picked Christians (who have accepted at least part of their mythology as mythology) get all uncomfortable with them. Good stuff.

If by "Seriously" you mean "word-for-word literally to a malignant extreme", then sure.
