Three and half weeks later the ball is re-inflated by a small child who cherishes the ball until his dying day.

The man was cheating at cards, so one of the other players killed him. "Motorcycles" is actually synecdoche for the design on the cards, of which there are 52 in a deck. This joke is typically told with bicycles instead, since that's a design that commonly appears on playing cards.

Interestingly enough I was asked a load of riddles today. Here are the ones I remember.

A man attempts to marry his widows sister, is this legal? Yes, unless he didn't officially divorce with the woman's sister beforehand.

In a bungalow, everything is painted purple, the windows, the floor, the curtains, everything. What color are the stairs? Do bungalows even have stairs?

How many pairs of animals did Moses put on the Ark? Moses?

Is there a 4th of July in Britain? Naturally.

How many months have 28 days? One. No wait, all of them.

The maker doesn't want it, the buyer doesn't use it, and the user doesn't see it, what is it? Don't have a clue.

No doubt the intelligent members of the Escapist will know the answers instantly =P, but it was worth a try.

Now here's another:


A horse is attached to a 15 foot rope, and there is a bale of hay 25 feet away. The horse can still reach. How does it do this?

Depends. Is the rope attached to anything else, and is that object between the horse and the hay?

If yes to both questions, then the horse can reach because he can access 15 feet around said unknown object, so one end of that circle to another end is 30 feet, and if the horse is on one end, he can still reach the hay, because it's 25 feet away, and he can reach 30.
