With that being something "big", since mentioning big and tasty things in every line, and starting with "I'm a riddle in nine syllables" (9 months?) I will guess that it is pregnacy og babies.

I'm pretty sure the answer to this one is a pregnant woman. I know I've seen it somewhere before, and your answer rings a bell.

Alright, here it is:

I?m a riddle in nine syllables
An elephant, a ponderous house
A melon, strolling on two tendrils
O red fruit, ivory, fine timbers!
Money?s new-minted in this fat purse
I?m a mean, a stage, a cow in calf
I?ve eaten a bag of green apples
Boarded the train there?s no getting off
A Pregnant woman, and I'm pretty sure this more of a poem and not so much riddle.

Correct it's a pregnant woman, it's a fairly well known poem by Sylvia Plath.

Have fun with this one.

- In a street there are five houses, painted five different colors.
- In each house lives a person of different nationality.
- These five homeowners each drink a different kind of beverage, smoke different brand of cigar and keep a different pet. Who owns the fish.

The British man lives in a red house.
The Swedish man keeps dogs as pets.
The Danish man drinks tea.
The Green house is next to, and on the left of the White house.
The owner of the Green house drinks coffee.
The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
The owner of the Yellow house smokes Dunhill.
The man living in the center house drinks milk.
The Norwegian lives in the first house.
The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
The man who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.
The German smokes Prince.
The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
The Blends smoker lives next to the one who drinks water.

Am I supposed to leave a riddle here, since I solved the one with pregnacy?
I'll give it a shot;
How can you say rabbit without using the letter R?

Whoever makes it, tells it not. Whoever takes it, knows it not. And whoever knows it wants it not.

(Thanks Crayzor!)
