College Major

Haven't gotten to college officially but I've been taking some classes now to prepare myself. I think I'm going to major in Game Art & Design since what that's what I'm interested in doing once I get out of college (Game Design).

BA Criminology

No offense to your or those whom will/have studied Criminology, but how is it an 'Art'?

OT: I may Double Major in something dealing with computers, and possible Creative Writing. Might minor also in something with computers.

I'm working on my bachelors' in mechanical and electrical engineering at my local community college (CGCC) before I head off to my local university (ASU) to finish them off.

I was going to do database administration but computers turned out to not be my thing, not sure what I'm going to end up going for, just working on general requirements for now until I figure it out. I would love to do philosophy or anthropology as a major but I don't see myself getting much real world use out of those. Damn my pragmatic side getting in the way of what's fun.

got a B.S. in bio with a biochem/chem minor tacked on as well. now working on my M.S. in Biochemistry. damn, been in school for a while now. where does all the time go?

Currently Undecided with Pre-med concentration. If I follow the formula my school uses to get people to Medical School, then I won't decide a major for another 2 years. I'm leaning towards Physics, though; I'll have to see what the next couple of years does for me.

Probably Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering(thats all one), though Political Science and Government looks good as well.

I've never heard anyone call it an art, nor do I see it as one. Not really anything artistic in statistics. Well, maybe that would be art to some of you math majors.

The only thing I'm sure about concerning college is that I want to attend a private (although probably public) liberal arts college in New England.

Hey escapist community! I was just curious about the education of the people on here. So I have a question for anyone who feels like answering it. What did you or do you major in when you were in college? And where did you/ do you go to college?

I am an Anthropology and History Major, and I minor in classical studies. I attend the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Damn that makes at least 4 of us escapists there next year, if you'll still be around.

I had to do Chemical and Materials, Process Engineering for my food science degree. It was absolutely horrible.
