The X-box 360 has a good network system with Live. I want to have people to play with online on my console.

PlayStation 3 has good processing power. Also it's the platform on which Ratchet & Clank reside.

Xbox 360 has probably best downloadable games of all - Braid,Shadow Complex.

Wii is simply best console for parties. Especially when everyone is drunk.

I have all 3 consoles... plus a pc so... The N Gage.... can function as a phone ...that's useful if you have to... make calls while playing a crappy port of tomb raider or something.

The 360 always has the best DLC
The Wii has made Nintendo ridiculous amounts of money (sorry, that's all I got.....I guess the motion sensor is a cool idea)

I want to acknowledge the Wii for using SD Flash cards instead of nintendo-designed memory cards. By using flash memory cards, they were able to tap into an already well developed and cheap technology. At launch, there were already multitudes of SD cards on the market for every budget. They also easily work with computers, and can be used to store digital photos and Mario Kart ghosts at the same time.

Wow, all this genuine niceness is making my head hurt.

faster download speeds, maybe, but x-box has no exclusive games I know of. Halo, fable, all the big time exclusives are all available on the PC. More importantly, on MY pc.

Anyway, back to the topic, The wii's pretty awesome, and on the x-box... hmm.... well I guess you can talk to each other online while on different games.

The Wii has good concepts behind the controller, is very easy to play and practically anybody can have fun with it.

The PS3 has very good graphical capabilities, and makes use of a new DVD format.

The Xbox 360 is a good all rounder, which provides everything pretty decently bar the online system.

The PC has better graphics, sound, controls, and generally kicks arse more than everything previously mentioned.
(Disclaimer: I don't hate consoles, but I know they're really cheap PCs designed to run games. Which is good really, lets people avoid the hassle PCs generally come with and gives a consistent gaming experience.)

360 has the best versions of cross-platform games, best headset, best online, most comfortable controller, and gives money to bill gates so he can feed starving children [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gates_foundation]

PS3 is shiny (at least the old ones), makes a cute beep when it's turned on, plays blu-ray movies, and has some good exclusive titles.

Wii, doesnt use much electricity, old people and little kids like it

PC, the most awesome invention in the history of the universe, destroys everything else graphically

This is hard for me because the most recent console I haven't owned was the Dreamcast, and I geniunely think it was totally awesome. It had great single player games and great party games. If Sega made a Dreamcast 2, I'd buy it.

The PS3 is an extremely cheap Blu-ray player. It also has MGS4 and Little Big Planet. In fact I kind of want one.

The PS3 is a power house with a sexy design and a good array of games.

The 360 has very good online implementation and a wide user fan base with a huge library of games.

The Wii has Virtual Console (Even if Sonic does run a bit laggy! >=[ )

The Gamecube... Is a cube!
