Dropkick Murphys at First Avenue in St. Paul. Walked out with only a gash on the side of my head.
Holy Hell, I might've gone to that show! When was it? And just to clarify before I make an ass out of myself, you're talking about first Ave. in Minneapolis, MN, right?

OT- My first was a Violent Femmes concert at the DECC in Duluth, Mn. It was a pretty calm concert, but it was a blast. Slightly smaller crowd, but the Femmes were really cool about interacting with the crowd. Totally appreciative of the people that were there.

Yeah, Minneapolis. I'm from the deep south western Minnesota so I just clump any of that metro area together. I think it was in 2003 or 2004. Lately the last few times they came to Minnesota they played at the Myth.

I'm from Saint Paul, and there's a 99.9% chance that I was there , I've seen them almost every time they've been here. If you're interested, they'll be playing at Irish Fest up here at Harriet Island in St. Paul.[sup]Sorry, just excited to find someone from MN, and finding out they're a Dropkick fan.[/sup]

Status Quo with my family Lol (I was still moshing and jumping off the chairs)

But my first 'gig'..oh how i remember it..the best one i've ever been too. Pure mosh metal on stage, wild mosh pits.. the stench of weed in the air..Blood and sweat, as you say, were everywhere I'll never forget it...or the memory of some guy out of his head trying to bite some guys ear off in the toilettes..whom my brother was holding back..not a memory you forget from when you were twelve.. however gigs now suck ass... whiny emo fags whining to a bigger group of static whiny emo fags.. if your lucky you get the odd 20 year old pissed off his head

I was thinking of going to Irish Fest but I just moved another 88 miles west into South Dakota, so getting to concerts is tougher with gas prices the way they are.

Gotcha. I know how that goes, trust me. I'm looking forward to it though. Flogging Molly was pretty tight last year, and I missed the Dropkicks when they played here a month ago, so I'm stoked to see them at Irishfest

But...but... *checks line up*

God damn it you're right. Why did I think Machine Head were playing?

Ahh well, it will still be awesomesauce!

And you will love Amon Amarth, even if they are half as good as they were when I saw them a few years back :D

I've been to quite a few festivals, so I'm not sure including them.

But if you're not including them, it was Bowling For Soup with support act American Hi-Fi at the Bristol Carling Acadamy. Very funny and awesome gig.

EDIT: Other ones I've seen are:

Bowling For Soup again with Army Of Freshmen and Son Of Dork supporting at the Bristol Carling Acadamy.
Bowling For Soup again with Army Of Freshmen, Wheetus, Zebrahead and The Bloodhound Gang supporting at Swindon Oasis.
Get Cape Wear Cape Fly (Twice at Bristol Carling Acadamy, once at Bristol University Ansem Rooms), once with Pull Tiger Tail supporting and the other times I can't remember the support act.
All American Rejects at Brixton Carling Acadamy, didn't see the support acts that time.
The Raconteurs at Bristol Colston Hall with A Bigger Bang supporting.
Joe Satriani at Bristol Colston Hall with Paul Gilbert supporting.
KT Tunstall at Bristol Colston Hall with King Creosote supporting.
Willie Mason at a small venue in Bristol (Can't remember the name nor the support act).
The Zutons at Swindon Oasis with The On/ Offs supporting.
Pendulum at Swindon Oasis with South Central supporting.
The Kooks at Swindon Oasis with Kid Harpoon And The Powers That Be supporting (Didn't see the other support act).
The Fratellis at Swindon Oasis (Can't remember the support act).
Kasabian at Swindon Oasis with The Hours Supporting.
And I'm going to see Motorhead later this year. I've seen a lot of concerts.
Oh, and Scouting For Girls at Swindon Oasis with The Days supporting.
