You didn't dispute what I said.
this is a direct contradiction of what you said:

both land as personal property and collective ownership of land are relevant to me in quite a lot of contexts!
but the thing is, you're not even savvy enough to be merely wrong about what I think; your logic doesn't make sense because it is perfectly reasonable to have a problem with land theft even if you don't think land ownership is a thing which should be respected.

You haven't said you respect land ownership. You haven't said you support it. You said it's relevant in contexts. "Relevant" is not a statement of support. You are deliberate enough with your rhetoric to pull such a stunt.

Edit: I'm right about what you think, I understand you think the logic doesn't track, but that's because what you think is heinous, and making you say it in a straightforward way is always a win. You dodge saying what you actually think for good reason...

apparently it is 'heinous' to think that for example if some village of people who believe it is absurd to own land exists somewhere and there is land that they all share and use in common, it would be wrong and constitute theft for someone else, or even one among their number, to unilaterally declare that he now owns all or some part of that common area and enclose it for his own exclusive use. I'm not sure what kind of derangement syndrome has afflicted you, but it has done quite the number. you'll suffer any humiliation to avoid talking about the actual genocide going on in Palestine, though, yeah?

That's a lot of words to dodge the point.

I was just thinking that about the number of posts spent sniping at other forumites to dodge discussing what's going on in Palestine.

what point? this one?

I understand you think the logic doesn't track, but that's because what you think is heinous,
I outlined why the logic doesn't track using an intuitive example of how it is possible to steal from people who don't believe in ownership. Now stop derailing with this irritatingly stupid and irrelevant nonsense.

There is no value in having a serious discussion about anything with someone who is constantly trying to deceive people. When someone is telling lies, posting propaganda, and using cheap rhetorical sleight of hand to try to trick people into believing untruths, and that user is often half of all the posts in this thread, it's worthwhile to regularly remember its all bull crap.

Not sure about the “vilest” but still pretty disturbing between the lack of accountability and abundance of arrogance.

The Israeli state made half the posts in this thread?

Problem is, its obviously not all bullcrap-- there's mountains of corroborative evidence for a litany of war crimes, meeting any reasonable evidential standard that we accept elsewhere. Its similarly irrational to dismiss everything presented to you from myriad sources because you don't trust one person.

Well, that is the difference between this thread and the Ukraine thread.

Double checking various sources reveals what are lies and propaganda and what not. I don't need Seanchaidh to see the war crimes in Ghaza nor does his posting alone convince me of anything.

He does not post truths, Silvanus. That isn't his M.O. If the truth helps his case, he will always pick whatever the next step beyond the truth is. If the truth hurts his case, he will ignore it entirely. He does this all on purpose, he thinks it's fun.

Irrational is taking strong positions on an issue you know is severely covered in mud, and not acknowledging the person doing all the mud flinging.

Pretty sure the bigger difference is ya'll dogpiled him til he stopped posting for a while (unless he made a second account to dodge the dogpile).
