?10,000: Okay, now we're talking. I'd buy a new TV, upgrade my PC, new speakers, bigger bed, a used but decent car, a new oven and a new fridge. Then save half of the remaining 4000 or so for the "shit happens" and spend the rest on a nice vacation.

?1,000,000: Eh, all of the above, though I'd probably take a one year break from my current job travelling the world first. Then I'd probably buy myself some nice stuff and return to normal working life, enjoying all the little luxuries. Or I'd move to Vancouver, sign myself up at VanArts and use the money to pay for food/rent/school while I'm studying there. I'm not sure, that kind of money is a bit abstract. I guess the best thing to do would be to just put it away and think about it for a year or so. While eating triple A steak every day, obviously.
