10$: Find who lost it.
100$:Find who lost it or keep it.
10,000$: Run straight to a store and buy a bunch of junk I don't need.
1,000,000$: Probably would just save like a mad man. If I were a celebrity I would live in an average area to avoid paying money.

$10 - save

$100 - buy a game and some weed

$10,000 - put 5,000 in bank, give some to relatives/good friends when they need it.

$1,000,000 - buy a house and decorate it to suit my tastes, put 800,000 in the bank, distribute some amongst relatives/good friends, and maybe a bit to charity.

....

buy shit with it? =P

I'm quite sure I'd save it, no matter the amount over $10

(I'd spend those $10 in a can of coke and snacks ^-^)

For the first two amounts I'd save, the next one I'd buy a new computer and a phone (because they're literally falling apart), and regarding the one million? Put it all in the bank, and live off the interest.

Stuff it all in the bank no matter what. Though... with the higher numbers (10,000, 1 million), I probably would take that and immediately start working towards my new life. I'd probably get myself in a new home, and probably snag a few other minor things for myself. After that... I'd save the rest and move on.

$10 = put aside

$100 = put aside

$10,000 = spend on stuff I need, spend on stuff I want, put aside (in that order)

$1,000,000 = same as above, but reverse the order of the first two.

Assuming that it was given to me legally;

£10 - Keep it.
£100 - Bank it.
£10,000 - Buy the parts to build a better PC, and bank the rest.
£1,000,000 - Buy a HAL-5 exoskeleton, buy the parts to build a better PC, and bank the rest.

If I just found it lying around;

£10 - Keep it.
£100 - Turn it in to the police.
£10,000 - Turn it in to the police.
£1,000,000 - Turn it in to the police.

$10
Happens all the time. I usually just stick the bill(s) into my wallet and use them within a couple of days on groceries or food.

$100
I'd most likely put it in my bank since I hate carrying more than $20 on me. But I would definitely spend at least a fifth of that on movies or games right away.

$10 000
I don't pay a tax on it, you say? Well then, to the bank it goes. I'd probably use that money to put a year's rent on an apartment somewhere other than my current city. Vancouver, maybe?

$1 000 000
Who finds a million dollars? Well, I guess I just did in this theoretical scenario. I'd bank it immediately before setting out to do two things: buy a house of some kind and hunt down a reliable financial adviser/investor to give me some advice on how to safely double my remaining monies in a short period of time (short meaning within a decade).

$10 - I spend more then this at the convenience store every morning.

$100 - Blow on something or another, I wouldn't really be paying attention.

$10,000 - Give to charity, I don't really need the money and it would save me a crap ton on taxes this year.

$1,000,000 - Hookers and blow in Mexico. You guys probably wouldn't see me again for at least three months. Sure I could get hookers an blow in the US, but there is no way I could stretch that money out to at least three months at my rate of hooker and blow consumption when uninhibited by monitory concerns. Besides after finding US$1 Million I would probably be on the run from whoever misplaced it, and through a series of misadventures find the love of my life and learn the value of friendship and honesty.
