Maybe coz he is a fellow escapist and so we should congratulate triumphs like these instead of being selfish, inconsiderate and a down right jerk. As its been said, the Neo badge is fairly tricky to get a hold of and escapists should be congratulated when they get harder-to-earn badges (well, i think so anyway). Its going to take me ages to try and achieve it...Ryuk2 said:Why should i care?
Actually, couldn't there be one for 10,000 with no mod wrath, and we just don't know about it? If no-one's ever done it before, I mean. Laurence Fishburne might have been the real star, but Hugo Weaving's pretty good, too. And Smith did beat Neo... kinda. I could imagine a badge sporting his face.Icecoldcynic said:Nah. Everything has to end somewhere, and 5000 is good enough. Hell not that many people have 10000 posts, let alone 10000 with no mod wrath.Souplex said:If you ask me there should be an "Awesomegasmic poster" badge with a picture of Bill S. Preston Esquire for getting 10k posts without mod wrath.

So congrags to Hubilub and to everyone else who has badges that are hard to get.
I won't get it either, I got suspended for ripping on fat people,Furburt said:Good for him, the tall bastard.
I never even got the trinity one.
I noticed that you are saying so yourself.Souplex said:As the Escapist expands it is becoming a more common occurrence. Really, it aint' the post count that matters, it is the post quality. Hence why I am the greatest Escapist ever.
Ahh, oh well. It was just a theory. But hey, being a Wordsmith Extraordinaire is still a pretty rare thing in and of itself, so I'd say that deserves some congrats, too.IdealistCommi said:There ins't. Both Neonbob and Portal Maniac have gotten more than 10K with no mod-wrath.Daze said:Actually, couldn't there be one for 10,000 with no mod wrath, and we just don't know about it? Nah, I'm thinking post count is secondary to those who genuinely contribute. There have been people in the past who would've garnered themselves that title by simply posting thousands of low-content posts.Trivun said:And me! Heh, Neo is pretty easy to get as long as you don't piss off the mods. It's no big deal getting it. What should really be applauded is those few who manage to become Wordsmith Extraordinaires...Ciarang said:sky14kemea, Neonbob. Urr...
They're the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.
Also, I will get that badge damn it!
I can't believe you didn't get banned for your picture of Harry Potter sexing up Dumbledore.Souplex said:As the Escapist expands it is becoming a more common occurrence. Really, it aint' the post count that matters, it is the post quality. Hence why I am the greatest Escapist ever.
Maybe, and yeah that's true but then again, on this site havn't we been told we are all meant to be a "family" in some ways (so its been said in other threads), we are all friends and meant to help eachother, be nice to eachother. Ok so we don't know him (although i recall him quoting me and fighting with Lord Cuthberton over getting me to say he was nice looking lol) so yeah ok i know him better then you.almightywabbit said:Sorry love, but I don't know this guy and I doubt many other people do, so why we have to be made to congratulate a random stranger is unknown to me, its like someone pulling you off the street to tell you its someone's birthday.DemonicKitten said:DemonicKitten said:Ryuk2 said:Why should i care?Maybe coz he is a fellow escapist and so we should congratulate triumphs like these instead of being selfish, inconsiderate and a down right jerk. He may be popular, he may be the next best thing since Relentless, but I don't know him, nor do I care what he's "achieved".

If banhammer wrath is reversed then it doesn't count against you I think. Last March my password was phished and the troll who stole it got my account banned. I talked with the mods, they understood the situation and reversed it. But I'm pretty sure that guy was trying to get Russ Pitts to hate me during the 4 hours I wasn't on. And I got the Morpheus badge after that and still going strong.Insanum said:Wait...
I thought he'd had Banhammer wrath before...
Gratz.
If they would make that a badge, I would live on this site until I get it.Souplex said:If you ask me there should be an "Awesomegasmic poster" badge with a picture of Bill S. Preston Esquire for getting 10k posts without mod wrath.
