Being the villain would actually be quite boring for me, just sitting in my massive doom fortress telling my redshirts with bad marksmanship to carry out my evil plans. I'd like to be the hero setting out on an adventure to stop the villain by storming his massive doom fortress. Besides, I could just take and repair his massive doom fortress afterwords, so I'd get both adventure and luxury.

And of course, antihero's always an option.

I'd probably start off doing good things, like stopping muggings and rescuing kittens from trees, but I'm not going to lie, soon I think I'd be corrupted and end up using the power for my own amusement when I got bored.

Could you honestly be a super hero with that type of power?

I would honestly say no, I mean I would go around doing the vigilante thing based on what news story about criminals pissed me off that morning. But I would honestly say that I could see myself as a Doctor Doom. I could even take over Australia for two reasons, the first reason being that every villain needs their very own island nation.. And the second being.. Its got some nice beaches... Come on, Super Dictator's gotta have a tan.


So, could you be a hero? If not what would you do?

Unfortunately, I'd be pulling a Punisher-esque Vigilante thing. I'm that twisted.

I'll just be an anti-hero. Its more fun when I'm saving peoples' asses and I don't need to hold back in case I kill the bad guy.

Really depends on what my power was. If it was moderately powerful I'd probably start fighting crime locally in a city (like Spiderman or Batman).

If I could use my power to make money legally or semi-legally (reading minds at a casino or something) I'd do that. Possibly I'd sell my likeness for action figures and appear in commercials, once I was famous.

I wouldn't fight crime if I wasn't financially secure, juggling social life/cover with fighting crime would be hard enough, if I managed to obtain Bruce Wayne amounts of money I could live very comfortably and gather a small support team to design armour, vehicles, gadgets and weapons.

If I was superman/dr manhattan/xman level in powers I'd reveal myself to several world leaders (US, UK, Australian, UN Secretary), get them to arrange funding for my expenses and to provide for any cover ups. Then I'd deal with world problems environmental, terrorist, drugs/gun trafficking etc.

I'm a ridiculous coward, so unless invulnerability came as part and parcel, I'd just run away from crime. But I wouldn't mind saving people from disasters.

Absolutely, I would. I would lay down harsh justice on the drug runners (coke/heroin/meth), pimps, terrorist camps, N Korean missile silos, etc.

I would leave a legacy of what some can look to as inspiration to reach for their higher selves.

Fleeting pleasure, wicked schadenfreude, and megalomania is a chewing gum that quickly loses it's flavor.

I'm more of a never-ending gobstopper guy, myself.

Life is finite, and nothing lasts forever. In spite of this, there's something to be said for the existential satisfaction of knowing that the world was better for you living in it.

I don't think I have it in me to be a villain, sadly; the good side has too strong of a hold on me.
Of course, everyone can be corrupted by power, so who knows.

Honestly I don't think I could, I'm pretty sure I would try to start out then at some point I would just give up on the rest of the world and watch over those I care about.
