Off the top pf my head the only situation where I would take someones' life would be in war. In almost any other situation my conscience would prolly get the better of me. If I had to kill for something then independency and the lives of my countrymen would pretty much be the only causes that I'd willingly kill someone for.
Yes. If I had to save a loved one or stop some kind of heinous crime, I could end someone's life.

In a "you or me" situation where I knew that person was going to kill me if I didn't kill them first? Oh yes, I'd go for gold. Hopefully I'd be in a situation where I could just knock them out and tie them up until authorities got to us, because I'd never get over having had to kill someone. But I'd do what had to be done if it really had to be done.
I'd be willing to kill someone in self-defense, but that's about it. This is in the broadest sense - defending me, defending others, killing any enemy in a war. In the last case, I think killing prisoners would always be bad, so I wouldn't kill anyone who'd surrendered.
I'd be willing to eat someone if we were trapped in the mountains and rescue was weeks away, but I'd be trying to sever body parts non-lethally and eat those.
Going into really weird scenarios, if someone transferred organs from a healthy person into themself, I think I'd be willing to give the wronged person their organs back. Even if it killed the organ thief. I'm out of plausible scenarios under which it would be moral to kill someone.

Yes. I believe that everyone, or almost everyone, has the capacity to kill, given the right circumstances.
Since I plan to pursue a career in Law Enforcement, I suppose I'll have to learn. As of right now... maybe.
Actually, questions are being asked. And that vague, evasive answer leads me to believe that you would not kill a person that has ended the lives of many and are ready to end the rest.CannibalRobots said:
