Honestly, the wonder twins (not just because they're super annoying), but yeah, a close second is Aquaman unless there's some evil genius beluga whale or mad scientist octopus to stop.

Or Meg in that episode of Family Guy when everyone got superpowers but all she could to is change the length of her fingernails.

As far as made up crappy superheroes: Atomic Urine Man! His urine can slice through any material known to man, but it only works if he's had too much to drink.
thats not actually that bad of a power.

How about Jesse's Backwardo from Breaking Bad..... his ability is to walk backwards really fast.....hehe apology girl.

as far as real superheroes go definitely aquaman
I know it's just fun for everyone to mock aquaman, but i'm betting that no one here knows what his powers are, besides the talking to sealife.

Breathe underwater, tough enough to be invulnerable to machine gun fire, superhuman strength, swim at very high speeds (10,000 feet per second), enhanced sight and hearing, dehydrate and therefore instantly kill anyone, shoot jets of scalding water, healing, create portals into mystical dimensions, nullify magic, etc. If you expect a superhero to do more than that, you expect too much
I'll admit, i have little knowledge of Aqua-man, provided only by Family-guy, which is well known for its exaggeration. Can he do those things out of water? obviously not the swimming, but the other stuff too.
I'm a few days late with this response, but yeah, all of his powers (minus the obvious swimming and such) can be done on land. He did used to get weakened if he was out of water for too long, but that's been gone for a while now.

And I enjoy jokes about aquaman, it's just when there's a discussion about how bad he is, I usually show up and mention a bunch of his powers to get people to actually know what they're talking about.
and now we know... but knowing is just half the battle... which leads me onto another "super-hero"...

haha, but thankyou, i appreciate that. My parents didn't let me read super-hero comics as a kid and forced me to read the beano >.> i guess back in the day, dennis was a superhero in his own right... or more, he never seemed to come out anything other than muddied after a 'fight'.

In big-name superheroes, Batman. A stupid theme for a super-hero who uses high-tech gimmicky gadgets.

Also another guy whose name I have forgotten (think he was from DC comics), basically his power was the ability to weld dogs to people. I kid you not.

Edit: Conveniently his name is Dogwelder. Although to be honest that team is pretty much amazing.

I think I'll say Matter Eater Lad, yes he acutally exists his power is well, he has the ability to eat matter... any matter. Really if you look into the league of superheros there are some pretty terrible ones there, that's where i would look.

I don't know if he's been mentioned yet or if he counts but well... John Constantine, this isn't because his powers are lame... it's just if he comes to help you then there's a really good chance your going to die or have a fate worse than death sprung upon you... seriously. John Constantine probably kills (accidentally) more people then he saves.

Aquaman had super stregnth and stuff. He wasn't the best, but fr from the worst. When it comes to over rated poor heroes, I'd go with Batman and Captain America. Every member of the JLA could whup Batman.
Yet Batman I think as whupped every one of them at least once... Batman's owned superman a good 3-4 times at least... even came close to killing him in TDKR, he would had done if he didn't fake an heart attack.

Ok, I know that this far back it probably won't get noticed, but I'm Gonna say it anyway.

[HEADING=1]Aquaman DOES NOT suck![/HEADING]

When done poorly he can be bad, like any character (see All Star Batman and Robin for details), but when done well, like In Justice League/Justice League Unlimited, he is amazingly badass and awesome. In one episode he cuts off his hand to save his son. Also, his "talking to fish" power isn't just having a chat about their gardens or whatever, he can command sea creatures. All sea creatures. Sharks, whales, giant octopi, deep sea abominations, all of them. That, coupled with his strength and endurance make him a very formidable foe. /Rant

On topic: A lot of "heroes" from the early nineties are pretty bad. Like Shaft for example (no, not that Shaft), who's just a rip off of Hawkeye/Green Arrow.

I would like to add that I don't think you can put Batman, Robin, or Iron Man on this list anywhere as they aren't actually "Super" heroes...they aren't super human, just regular humans, with cool suits and gadgets.

Powdered toast man from ren and stimpy would be my choice, he farted all over toast and flew backwards.

Oh man he was hilarious.
