"You have really nice teeth. They are like the moon and the stars. Can I have them?"
-A random crazy homeless man on the bus.

"You two make a really cute couple."
-A stranger referring to my sister and me. I couldn't sit next to her for the next week.
I had a girlfriend whom everyone thought was my big sister for a awhile. the fact that she was younger than me didn't help. Every time we would go somewhere, someone would comment on how we looked like cute siblings. Or how nice she was to drag me around. Although looking back, I can kinda see why.

"Dude, your beard is awesome. Like a pirate. Well, more like the beard of a pirate. You have a Pirate Beard!"

At uni. To be fair, he was right. But it's still a weird way to start a conversation.

Also, a truckie told me that "You go' a perty 'mouf' bo-h."

It's nicer than some lousy pickup line.

When getting my eyes checked at an optical store, one of the women working was helping me put on contacts (It was my first time). After I got them in she gave my a quick eye test (The one were you cover one eye and follow a pen light with the other) My mother was in the room and during this test she said to my mom without turning her head "Man, he's got such beautiful eyes... Such a waste."

Now as a man, You can use any girly adjectives to describe my beauty (assuming you find something appealing), And I'll take it as a compliment, Consider me flattered. But not even a woman should say that while her unprotected neck is within my reach. I will choke a ***** for being a *****.

I'll confess to doing something dumb.

I find smiles really attractive, and well I went to go hit on this pretty girl. I started off not so great, and ended with "smile for me, your so pretty when you smile". She wasn't really in the mood to get hit on and complimented by random drunk guys, and didn't react like I had planned.

"Everyone of you has atrocious handwriting. I am serious here, I cannot even read some of it. Some I don't even know whether it is in English now. That is why from now on I will only accept typed assignments. Except for [Youth Counselor] here, [holds up paper and passes it around the class] look how beautiful it is. It's so neat, uniform, and flashy, I can't believe that it's not from a girl!"

Most of the stuff in this thread so far is stuff that I would say without even considering it creepy. That's kind of... worrying.

I had a genuinely creepy girlfriend who used to try to be as creepy as possible for fun.
Choice lines:

Her: "I want to skin you alive and then wear your skin so I'll be inside you."
Me: "But... I'd bleed to death. And... you'd suffocate."
Her: "AND THEN WE'LL BE TOGETHER FOREVER!"

Her: "If you don't have sex with me, I'm going to cut out my own vagina and send it to you."
Me: "You're just ripping off Van Gogh."

Me: "Want to try something new [sex-wise]?"
Her: "Why don't you cut me!"
Me: "What?"
Her: "I'll go get a knife."
Me: "Wait, wait! I'm not going to cut you with a knife while we're having sex!"
Her: "YOU NEVER WANT TO DO ANYTHING FUN!"

Man, I wish I was making this stuff up.
(In case you're wondering, she was actually really hot, too.)
Edit: I realise these aren't strictly compliments, but you could interpret those exchanges as complimentary by virtue of the fact that she was so obsessed with me. That's how I took it.

I've gotten "You smell nice" from a friend. It was kinda creepy, and a bit insulting, too. Don't I usually smell nice?

Also, after handing my picture ID to a guy to get into a local amusement park, he looked at it and said, "You have a really nice smile. Wanna show me in real life?"

And then there's the "look at you... damn, red-heads with pigtails are hot... like sexy farmer girls" that I got at my job.

And I have many more, but I think that gets the point across.
That second compliment is actually very flattering. But how it was conveyed in real life, can be very different from how it was conveyed in text.

As for the last one, that's the honest to God truth. Although I don't know why one would say it aloud.

I was with my (ex now) girlfriend getting ice cream and the man working the counter told me it was nice of me to get ice cream for my sister. Besides that being very weird there is another problem. I'm 6'1, tan, brown hair and eyes and she is 5'2, blonde, fair skin, and has green eyes. I don't know what he was thinking.

I suppose it is. But would you want that to happen to you? Actually you might, depending on the guy.

It's also nicer than being approached by a girl who insists on sending you PMs to tell you she's finding it hard to move on and that she still really likes you... I spoke to this girl while I dragged her brother to his bed one night as I sobered up and he passed out. If there was ever a time for the acronym 'WTF' this is it.

had a girl once tell me I had the best looking nails she had ever seen on a man. I also had a older lady today tell me how neatly I folded the dish rag I use to wipe down the tables, funny enough I thought that was really nice of her to say that.

"Oh I LOVE your hair! So, is it a ladies night ou....t?" - A waitress at a restaurant.

I'm a dude, and I don't have nice hair, one of these two facts became apparent to her as I turned to face her with my blank stare.

"You have really great eyebrows."

I told someone that once and I'm sure they found it creepy.

I don't think I've ever been given a creepy compliment.

I was at a thing with a couple people from my Youth Group (one of which is a girl) and there was this D-Bag there (whos name was Tucker, how can you not be a d-bag with that name ?) and for whatever God forsaken reason he ended up with her #. (I actually think a mutual friend of the 2 gave it to him). And i think she gets the odd text from him that generally goes like: "OMG im so high, your so hot, wanna f***?". I swear this girl seems to atract all the d-bags out there, yet she doesnt seem to really do anything about it, then she turns around and gets upset about how all her bfs turn out to be douches.

I mean as long as the guy isn't making groping motions towards my boobs are being an ass when he says it, then that's fine with me. I've never had a stranger tell me that they find me attractive. I think I'd turn bright red and mumble out a thanks.

That does sound like a WTF night.

''Are you wearing a padded bra? Your breasts look bigger from last time!''

A lesbian friend of a friend told me that. It was slightly creepy, but I laughed after. xD
I heard some girl tell another woman that she must have gained weight because her boobs looked bigger. It was a lovely backhanded compliment.
