Creepy Rollercoaster Will Kill You with Euphoria

As ways to go out, it's probably the least frightening way to go. Next to maybe in your sleep.

I mean, you get that euphoria which oughta make you feel on top of the freakin' world. If I ever wanted to die, I wouldn't mind that option.


Quite honestly, it's only creepy to me if it's like the risk one can take. You know, like how there are foods you can eat that have a high chance of killing. And you might never know if the one time you try it, the preparation can fail and you'll die. If he'd introduced this thing like, "check out this awesome coaster. You might die but if you live, I bet it'll be fun." Then there'd be an issue.

But this is quite simply for the euthanasia. It's honest. I have no issues with it.

On-topic: creepy? I think it's awesome. Yes, it is way too cost-ineffective to ever get built, but it's awesome.

As far as coasters go this is really cool. I've even recreated this in Rollercoaster Tycoon (well as close as possible anyway, since the height limit on the game is really low.

1. The Steel Twister coaster has no support height limit (other than the top of the map) and bigger loops.

I realized that after i built it. So I made this to fix that. It is not the euthanasia. coaster, but it would have the same effect. Also it is so massive I can barely fit it all on screen.

I'm all for it, I mean, if you wanna kill yourself, that's certainly a cool way to do it. Better than razors or pills or a .38.

To clarify, if somebody really wants to kill themselves, they'll do it, no matter what. So this is certainly better than the alternative. What with the pills and the razor and blah blah.

Well actually death by g-force is a relative clean death. So removing that bodies would not be that bad of a job at all.

If I wanted to kill myself, I'd do it. I'd go out doing what I love.
Especially with the long ride up because I'll cancel at the last second most likely.
I'd much rather die in my sleep though.

Hmmm... remember it's G forces that kill, so those long hills would be danger-free. The only threatening part is the 3150-degree helix at the end.

I notice no one mentioned the part where it becomes impossible to breathe as the Gs increase, that happens before the happy part so I imagine there's a while of terror when the realization that you're suffocating and not quite happy about it yet.

Actually the people black out and die to to g-force alone and not g-force induced asphyxia. Most riders would be brain dead by the second loop. On top of all that you would get a massive dose of epinephrine which would nullify a lot of the fear reaction.

Well actually, the -9g at the bottom of the hills would probably kill you, not to mention going around the narrowest unbanked corners possible would also be very adverse to your health.

I'm confused, how do they get those that change their mind and don't push the button back down without killing them?

So this is the same concept medically as the Hypoxia chamber they were testing at one point?

I have to say the coaster sounds preferable to the chamber or the operating table though, I feel sorry for the person who has the job of cleaning out the coaster cart of bodies and fluids.

You get to the top and only if you want to continue do you push the button.

Ooooh, I'd never be able to kill myself that way (if I wanted to die, that is). Roller coasters are just too scary.

Wait a minute, did he say it could help deal with overpopulation? Sentencing people to death by roller coaster seems awfully impractical.

Wow. Can you imagine a more beautiful way to take your own life? Euphoric, gazing out at all of creation, visible as far as your eyes can see, never worrying about whether it will hurt, because you'll have no idea it's happening, just a blissful, serene rush into oblivion. Seeing the world rush by you, as you rushed through it, coming to a quite peaceful end. Imagine happily screaming, waving your arms in the air, coming to terms with both your own mortality and the infinite beauty of things around you...and letting that be your last conscious thought. If there was ever a way to go, that would be it.
