One: The thing that started it all. Personally, I find the maps and scenarios to be better/more satisfying.Aris Khandr said:

Three: Suddenly embraces 3D, first-person roller coaster riding (AWESOME), and the visitors suddenly start behaving like real theme-park guests, having families/friend groups/etc, and you get cute things like a mom and dad standing at the side of a merry-go-round watching their giggling little girl. The sound can get overwhelming, though, and the ride-building isn't as satisfying for some reason.
I'd get RCT1 first, mostly due to price, to see if you like it. They're both totally worth your time.

Well virtual lesson learned, never test a virtual prototype with real virtual people, especially when you're experimenting with new virtual fuels. Hold the virtual phone...all the virtual coaster train cars virtually exploded? Did you virtually coat them all in virtual rocket fuel?!lacktheknack said:
RCT3 us just kind of terrible. You can ride your rides now which is cool, but it is ugly and just really doesn't feel as fun as the others. Also Chris Sawyer (the guy who made RCT 1&2) had no involvement in it.Aris Khandr said:

Unrelated fun fact, Chris Sawyer programmed RCT1 almost entirely in Assembly.
