Taking off with a modern fighter jet is also super easy. You just have to press E a couple of times. I don't understand why the military spends money on pilot training.

I miss the Grue and old Infocom text adventures. Perhaps I always miss it but I've thought some modern RPGs might involve a visit by the grue for the lulz.

Yes, I know Zork (I think it was) was hidden in "Black Ops." but that's not quite the same (and I don't really play many FPS games).

While it does have QTE, they do them a lot better than most.
You can miss a few and still win, it changes the fight. The rat was absurd.
I liked the story more than most people have, it was short, but the tones and ideas where really good. Story was meh, but I liked it.

It because of sp campaigns like the one from battlefield, that many think good fps sp games are dead.
