LOL reminded me of what they did in Killzone 2. You actually see an Infinity sign by your pistol ammo.....However KZ2 did it right and made the pistol worth Jacksquat when it came to combat XDDTWolfwood said:infinite ammo pistol killed the game for me.
Let me say this about that: you thought MW2 had bugs?Kalezian said:I already get that the single player is unbearable but I havent heard much about multiplayer other than "its like what we have been playing for a few years now".
well killzone had a suspension of disbelief for me since this was the 'future'. but for a modern day shooter where you are an elite "tier 1 operator" with guns a plenty from the ungodly amount of taliban you kill, there is no need to have an infinite ammo pistol that is accurate to 1000yds lolMadara XIII said:LOL reminded me of what they did in Killzone 2. Ha I know how it is. That is just rediculous that a rocket and make a 90 degree downward turn to hit a target. But yeah there were pistols in KZ2. Desert Eagles I believe. And your response was all the more hilarious in that it shows how useless those dam things are XDDTWolfwood said:well killzone had a suspension of disbelief for me since this was the 'future'. but for a modern day shooter where you are an elite "tier 1 operator" with guns a plenty from the ungodly amount of taliban you kill, there is no need to have an infinite ammo pistol that is accurate to 1000yds lolMadara XIII said:LOL reminded me of what they did in Killzone 2. oh and what?! Killzone2 had a pistol?!
also when they showed off the apache gunship lvl off i got sick because you would NEVER see Apache gunships at that range engaging enemies. Also you wont see one without the Longbow attachment. Also rockets don't shoot perpendicular to their launch tubes. (Ok im ranting)
The game reeked of "Me Too" syndrome.
Heh. Only a certain degree of realism necessary.Zachary Amaranth said:Totally.
And the whole "realism..But not TOO realistic" thing.
Yes. Yes, there is. That's actually the problem. The chatter should /not/ be authentic at all. It should be something closer to what you /imagine/ actual military chatter should be like. Trust me, having actual 19-year olds without trigger-discipline whine in your ear for hours to keep their minds off the things they're actually doing for a living is bad. Very, very bad. Unsettling and scary.hyperpulsehammer said:There's really nothing wrong with authentic military chatter.
Same here. Now that game had realism. One mission I got shot in the legs but still had to make it back to friendly lines in the next mission. I had to spend the entire mission crawling while avoiding Russians.Fronzel said:Wait, they used the word "realistic" at any point and there's a infinite ammo pistol?
Don't mind me, I'll just be re-playing Operation Flashpoint.
The irony is that, in real life, that would be awesome. As long as only you had one.DTWolfwood said:infinite ammo pistol killed the game for me.
