anc[is]I totally agree with panel 4. I still don't know what the hell Oscar Mike means.
On the Move
On Mission, actually.

yet it bassicly means the same.

OT: I was actually thinking about picking up MoH next week so I have something else to play for a change.

I already get that the single player is unbearable but I havent heard much about multiplayer other than "its like what we have been playing for a few years now".
Multiplayer is just as bad - it's severely unbalanced with snipers being one hit kill laser guns that can shoot into your spawn with no difficulty and the maps being dumb as hell (only two ways out your spawn on tiny maps)

The game is literally like two half games just slapped together in the hopes of making something - first time I've actually wanted to return a game within a week of getting it and this was the title I was most hyped for all year *sigh*

Let me say this about that: you thought MW2 had bugs?

that doesnt really add anything to what I have heard so far about multiplayer.

MW2 had glitches and bugs, but it was still playable.
Fair enough. Kukakkau already pointed out several aspects. Magic bullets, equalizing internet connection, atrocious hit detection, suicidal bottleneck map design in combat missions, TDM maps so small they allow for enemy-on-enemy respawns, overpowered sniper rifles (Kukakkau hit that one on the head; one-hit kill in any mode unless at EXTREME range), and a hardcore mode that isn't.

I had the game put my own mortar strike on my head after it detected the rock right next to me as sitting right in front of me, even though I was looking at the other end of the map. I've never had to muscle through such a problematic multiplayer.

I was quite taken with the multiplayer. The core mechanics were still garbage but the pace of battle and the feeling of success when you spearheaded a push was nice. Wperhaps bad company 2 would be a good choice for me?

True it's rewarding when it pays off but most of the time it's a blind rush into the jaws of death at the hands of the defenders.

You might like Bad Company 2 if you liked the mechanics and how it played but it is a lot slower pace than Medal of Honour. The main game mode in that also involves a lot of rushing.. in fact it's called Rush so you may enjoy that a bit

Check it out it's a pretty good game

I just noticed the text under the comic.
That's..... interesting.....? *trying not to puke*

+1 to vaginas, eh, guys?

Potty mouthed Stout strikes again.

You'd swear she was written by a couple of dudes that still find the word 'genitals' the funniest thing ever.
Come to think of it... it's becoming a recurring theme with you two. That God of War/ is Kratos good in the sack-even if he's covered head to toe in ash still has me reaching for the mind bleach.

I'm keeping a count of how many penis and vagina references you make from now and will be using it to graph your tendency to want to be Matt Stone and Trey Parker.

I walked into that, didn't I? :p

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy the comic.

That said, I think that Stout might as well get a sex change considering how laddish you've made her!
All part of the charm, though.

Girl only gives +1 to Vagina? That's an obviously broken trait. No wonder you can hardly find any hardcore gamer with it.

Heh. Only a certain degree of realism necessary.

Well actually, we wouldn't want it to be too realistic. Like, actually blowing your leg off... 0_O
I don't know. Spending a few months in a hospital recovering from a stray bullet would be AWESOME.

Heh.

But yeah, it's mostly the specific example.

Oscar Mike means "On the Move."

As far as all the other stuff they said over the radios in the way that the military speaks over radios, I understood it all. It's very literal, that's the point. It's not that hard to understand. The only thing I didn't know was "Delta Hotel," which I found out means "Direct Hit."

OP: Perhaps this wasn't the game for you...at all. Or anywhere close. I thought it was a great game. Unlike MW2, the story was more believable, and since they used people who actually DO that shit for a living, I give it a bit more credit. Remember it's still a game. "Authentic" doesn't always translate to "realistic." It isn't trying to compete with ARMA, it's trying to compete with Call of Duty. I just hope next time, they just let Danger Close work on it alone, because it seems like most of the problems with the game are on DICEs end. After all, they don't want to make the multiplayer too good, or people will stop playing their games.
