Well, assuming the Crysis 2 complainers have much deeper complaints, it would be perfectly emblematic of the problem.Zhukov said:Why is it such a big deal that the game say, "Press Start to begin"?
Seriously, that is the most pathetically petty complaint I have ever seen. It makes PC gamers look like those whiny creatures who complain about superhero costumes.
If the port has other issues then fine, complain to you heart's content. Lord knows, I would.
But "Press Start to begin" is just not worth it.
Such as, let's say there's a book that's filled with tons of spelling and grammar errors. And on the cover, the sub-title of the book has a misplaced comma. Might be the easiest mistake in the world to make, might happen on lots of books, that particular mistake might be completely insignificant... but that missed comma becomes emblematic of the deeper problem inside.
If Cyrsis 2 really is geared to the console player at the expense of the PC game (and such things make the Crysis 2 experience much less rewarding than the Crysis 1), then "Press Start To Play" would sum up what's wrong with the PC port.
But if the rest of the game is perfectly suited for the PC, then it's just a simple over-sight that they'd probably rectify in the first game patch.
