Boondocks Saints, pretty much anything by Hayao Miyazaki (Princess mononoke, spirited away, howl's moving castle, etc.), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind...That's all I can think of that hasn't been said.

I want to say A Scanner Darkly, but that's more of a highly regarded 'cult movie' just within my circle of friends, and hardly anyone else has seen it or cares.

Has anyone said Rocky Horror Picture Show yet? I just skimmed the posts, but I didn't think I saw it. Classic. Also:

Boondock Saints
Dogma
Office Space
Reservoir Dogs
Dog Day Afternoon
Brick
The Lost Boys

Its a movie that's not exactly the most successful but is great enough to earn a group of very loyal fans. transformers is the anti-cult-film.

Reservoir Dogs, Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrells, Lucky Number Sleven, Pretty Much ANYTHING by Quentin Tarantino, Blow, Natural Born Killers, The Usual Suspects, Donnie Darko (one and two), Groove, Empire Records, The Warriors, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Sin City (to some extent), Nightmare Before Christmas (again, kinda borderline...but it still counts)

I am sure there are more, be ready for edits.

RAND00M - (from Wikipedia): A cult film (also known as a cult movie/picture or a cult classic) is a film that has acquired a highly devoted but specific group of fans.[1] Often, cult movies have failed to achieve fame outside of the small fanbases; however, there have been exceptions that have managed to gain fame among mainstream audiences. Many cult movies have gone on to transcend their original cult status and have become recognized as classics; others are of the "so bad it's good" variety and are destined to remain in obscurity. Cult films often become the source of a thriving, obsessive, and elaborate subculture of fandom, hence the analogy to cults. However, not every film with a rabid fanbase is necessarily a cult film. Usually, cult films have limited but very special, noted appeal. Cult films are often known to be eccentric and do not follow traditional standards of mainstream cinema and usually explore topics not considered in any way mainstream?yet there are examples that are relatively normal. They are often considered controversial because they step outside standard narrative and technical conventions known.[2]

I love all of these movies, I haven't seen half the ones on your list though.

Fun fact: My very distant relative produced Lucky Number Slevin (Don Carmody).

Cult films?

I guess cult movies are movies that, when released, did not receive much attention (or only a decent amount) until much later on by a devoted group of fans (Evil Dead 2). OR the movie only received attention from fans of previous entries in the genre or film franchise (Army of Darkness).

If that's right, then here's my list:

Labyrinth
Spaceballs
The Poseidon Adventure
Evil Dead 2
Army of Darkness
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen
Return to Oz
The Thief and the Cobbler (aka Arabian Knight)
Raising Arizona
Willow
UHF

80s fantasy movies make great cult flicks.
