I was a fan since Plug in Baby. I'm a bit less into them now but certain songs like Knights Of Cydonia are truly amazing.
You now know someone. Their music is boring. I'd rather have silence than the white noise they create.Ambi said:I like them. I can't think of anyone who doesn't like them, tbh.
The music in this was actually good, but the song wasn't great. I didn't listen to the whole thing due to the vocals. I haven't found anything else by them not fitting the description I gave earlier.Lopsided Weener said:Muse has been one of my favourite bands, though their newer stuff I'm not a fan of as much. The Resistance is very different to their older albums, and is much more "mainstream". I'm into heavier stuff like:
Me personally I've always loved the songs Hysteria, Citizen Erased, and Dead StarMadara said:I don't like them. I liked exactly 1 song by them but even that started to get on my nerves since the singer sounds like a... Well I wont say but yeah, s/hes annoying.
Edit: Actually, I half take it back. Relistening to the song I find my annoyance of it has faded but yeah, if I listened to it a few more times I would rehate it.

If someone could suggest say their top 3 Muse songs so I can get more of a feel for their better works then I would appreciate it.
Words cannot express how jealous I am of you. I'dve killed for the chance to go to that. Thats still my favorite live album of ANY band I listen to. Hearing the crowd sing the instrumental to Knights of Cydonia makes my hair stand on my arms haha. That and the insane as hell ending to Stockholm Syndrome.InterAirplay said:Snip

I personally enjoy there Absolution album the most with my favorite songs being "Soldier Side", "Uprising", "Sing for Absolution", and "Undisclosed Desires." I got to go to one of their concerts and I really liked it. I couldn't help but laugh at a commercial once where they were using "Butterflies and Hurricanes." They were using the song to showcase some new seasons of popular shows on a certain channel with that song playing in the background. It was suppose to sound uplifting and inspirational, but I knew that they got it wrong because the song is about getting revenge on someone and bidding your time to do it. It made me laugh pretty hard.
On a side note, I enjoy them because they are much better than any of today's American rock groups. Seriously what happened to American rock music? Did the nasty drug habit known as "the 80s" leave permanent brain damage to the music industry? They are a very few songs from the 90s to the present that I enjoy.I think you meant Soldier's Poem.
And even that was a cover version. The original is by Nina Simone and was written far before Muse started making musicGrouchy Imp said:And the one track of theirs that I like above all others has been covered (and I think bettered) by Joe Bonamassa anyway
Well there you go, I'm less of a Muse fan than I thought I was, and I didn't really like them that much in the first place!Xerosch said:And even that was a cover version. Anyway, I really hated the whiny singer's voice for a very, very long time. Found my way to their music with 'Black Holes and Revelations'.
