The draconian Hammurabi in me says they should cut off the hands of both of the guys who were in on this piracy misadventure. Or maybe take a page from Vlad's book and impale them. Tirgoviste was, after all, one of the safest cities in the history of the world...

Ah well, I think they deserve to lose a few sales by somewhat screwing over the PC crowd anyway (dedicated servers and all that jazz). Not that I advocate piracy, but at the same time this game has dropped from my must buy list for a while.

Pirating goes on all the time and the companies still make millions, if not billions.

Pirates and thiefs are simply byproducts of your success, if they're not there, you know you're not making a good game.

What happened to the days where people were just content to eagerly await the release of a game and all get it the same day and so on? Getting a pirate copy is like finding your hidden Christmas presents before Christmas; sure, you now know what you have but you still cant play it "properly" till Christmas day, youve ruined the surprise and a kitten dies.
