I just want to see what the Imperial City is like post-Red Ring. It'll give me more motivation to punch Thalmor in the cock.
Maybe they are saving that idea for an MMORPG. Which would be incredible.Radeonx said:I think it'd be pretty cool.
Honestly, I'm still praying that Bethesda makes some sort of super game that involves all of the continents and is just a gigantic epic adventure.
I know you could run across a member of the Morag Tong (remember: they're not sanctioned outside of Morrowind), and I think there may have been a cave network on the border, but I'm not sure.Dexiro said:Could you? o:Soviet Heavy said:I thought you could go to Morrowind in Oblivion. Normally i hate MMORPGs, but dammit if i wouldn't buy that game and pay a subscription!CardinalPiggles said:Maybe they are saving that idea for an MMORPG. Which would be incredible.Radeonx said:I think it'd be pretty cool.

Same here. I'd just become a blacksmith/enchanter, and basically be a legendary merchant and get ridiculously wealthy, cutting deals on Dragon Armor to noobs.Ironman126 said:Normally i hate MMORPGs, but dammit if i wouldn't buy that game and pay a subscription!CardinalPiggles said:Maybe they are saving that idea for an MMORPG. Arena. The first Elder Scrolls game. It had every province, Summerset Isles, High Rock, Valenwood, you name it, it had it. The game world was HUGE. It would take you ten real time hours to get from one side of Tamriel to the other.Radeonx said:I think it'd be pretty cool.

Cyrodiil!Blargh McBlargh said:I'm pretty sure it's nothing more than a model to put in the distance to make the world seem even larger.![]()
you've got a point, and it has been 200 years since the end of the oblivion crisis, oh and dragons are in skyrim, maybe some went south after alduin gets defeated.A Raging Emo said:Yeah, but remember Cyrodiil is supposed to have been torn up in the war with the Thalmor. It'd be quite a different environment and state now than it was during the previous Era.Angry Juju said:I can't imagine them making an expansion like that tbh... be like them making an expansion for oblivion where you go to morrowind
There will be mods coming out for that i guess. Building up a different Cyrodiil next to Skyrim would be sheer madness workloadwise but then there must be thousands of mad modders out there. I say chances are not that bad.Korten12 said:The wierd tower looking thing and the water around it is in a very similar shape. I doubt it's anything but maybe a expansion where you go back to Cyrodiil?
The first Elderscrolls was like that, but then the graphics were that simplistic. Then again, it was the ninties, so doing that now with current spec is a possibility... still, they'd better have a cool overall theme for the game, or else I'll just miss the dragons and shouts whenever I go to Skyrim...Radeonx said:I think it'd be pretty cool.

And where would the problem in that be? I think a lot of Elderscrolls fans would require a change of pants and some kleenex if there had been a Morrowind expansion for Oblivion. That said, I'm still sore Bethesda/Obsidian shut down the guys modding the entire Morrowind game into Oblivion. I thought they were cool...Angry Juju said:I can't imagine them making an expansion like that tbh... be like them making an expansion for oblivion where you go to morrowind
Both those games were made on the same buggy engine and use the same basic design. Even so the mod has trouble with things like system comparabilities and random bugs deciding to reappear and disappear at will. Well that and the whole possibly very illegal thing.NickCaligo42 said:Well, somebody made a New Vegas mod where you go to the wastes of Washington from Fallout 3.
