This doesn't seem like the greatest idea in the world.

In fact, I would severely suggest not doing it, because, well, yeah.

Also, what's wrong with a regular wedding cake?
I'm not the only one then.

All right, so I'm getting married in about 9 months and I'm taking advantage of the opportunity to have a D&D themed grooms cake. Our baker can do just about anything for example...

Anyway, any suggests on what the most awesome D&D cake would be?
Hell yeah! I think you might just win the Order of Gygax award for this.

Personally, I think a regular sheet cake will do....except in icing you are going to write the funniest/stupidest things your party has ever said in session.

Ok, this is the last time I'll mention this but we are having a traditional wedding cake as well, Groom's cakes are traditionally strange or funny. Seriously guys, don't worry this is all on the up and up.

Tarrasque. You can't even kill it so even if you eat the cake it will still live on in your stomachs forever.

I may not have an idea for the cake, however:

Use an actual six sided dye, roll it, and then strike at the villainous cake.

A d20 with the 20 side facing up, but caption it with "Rolled a natural 20 on my marriage check"

Did you see the picture? I don't think a beholder would be a problem. However I'm not going to go beholder, they're just too ugly, people have to want to eat this.

Have a Beholder cake, that'll be sure to freak out your guests to no end. Or alternatively, the Prince of Death Orcus or his followers. The Cult of Orcus are awesome.

You have a woman, who loves D&D, and is willing to have a D&D wedding? You sir, have the greatest fiance of all time. OF ALL TIME.

I would suggest you have the cake be a multi-leveled castle dungeon, and on top, have real life versions of you and your future wife's favorite campaign characters so far that you made in wedding attire(maybe, adventure outfits work too), and have them standing over a blooded troll that they just killed.

PS They should be smiling!

That would be pretty sweet.
