Yeah, I used to be fucking stupid... But then we broke up.
Bwahahaha!

It took me a couple of minutes to get it so I guess I'm still stupid.

I am Ab-so-f**king-lutely clueless still when it comes to women.

Now I'm not the most brilliant guy when it comes to women but I do get the odd girl hitting on me, only I never notice it until days after. I'm not boasting, its a genuine utter bastard.

Was working with a girl the other day, she kept asking me about local clubs and where to go out and generally sticking to me all day chatting. Wasn't until about a day later I realised how painfully obvious it was with hindsight that she WANTED ME TO ASK HER OUT. Just didn't get it at the time. I'm always doing that.
You see? This is why I wish girls would be much more transparent in their desires. Well, I guess it doesn't help when you don't instantly want to have sex with every girl you meet and thus blow them off because you aren't looking for that at that very instant.

I thought for years that you could only get pneumonia if you had long hair.

CHARLIE BROWN LIED TO ME! (Well actually it was Linus but it was still that world dangit!)

Also in my first year of college I looked at the hardest possible high school maths test and did every question near instantly in my head. There couldn't have been more than 6 months difference.

Looking back to your past and thinking 'my god I was a dumbass' is good thing!

After all not thinking so would mean you did not develop in that period of time.

Doesnt necessarily work the other way around though. Doing something stupid every day and realizing it the next day likely doesnt mean your very smart (or wise might be the better term).

I write as a hobby, and i'm no exception to the old adage that a writer is his worst critic. Any time i go back and read any of my old stories, I groan at how bad it is.

I would share some with you guys, but you can't exactly unburn paper.
A great artist or writer is never 100% happy with his own work. I have it with my drawings and poetry.

To be honest I have fairly little... well I was Mormon, since I was raised that way but actually deconverted at 9/10 so thats cool. On the other hand women I am not so good with (just like about 50% of males on this thread apparently. Nice to be in good company.) The only outright totally stupid thing would be falling HARD for one girl around middle school. 8th grade to be exact. And then falling steadily more and more in love with her and talking to her alot hanging out with her a few times ect. I kept trying to figure it out but she was hard to understand. For example I once went to a movie with a friend of mine, her and her friend. She randomly had her hand on my thigh for lots of the movie, acted really flirty and joked about it alot. Que friend telling me she obviously liked me and so I should stop being a coward and go for it. The issue? She was one of those girls thats super-popular and is also not really at all afraid of physical contact so for her standards that wasn't unusual. In about 10th grade she figures out I like her (after half the grade, since I am not the most subtle person ever.) and I get the "no I really like you, your one of my best friends, but not that way" conversation. So this goes on for a while and things are alright, but I am making no progress towards not being in love with her, so finally I decide to completely severe all conection to her to make the process work. That got really really akward as I then had to explain that no Idid not hate her now, but being in love with her still wasn't really helpful, and besides I doubt she would miss me that much. Well I felt like a innsensitive jerk after that, since I relied on her not really caring about me. So now we are kinda still friends but stuff is more akward... cynicism really makes your descions sucks. The worst part is I am repeating the first part all over again.

For about 3 years of elementary school, my dad had me convinced that the Revolutionary war was decided by a coin toss, much like how posession is decided at the beginning of a football game. Then I find out my dad was trolling me and it was in fact a Bill Cosby joke all along.

About five or six years ago, I was just about the most arrogant, pompous, loudmouth prick you can imagine. I always had something to prove, something to show off. To be honest, I was a down right asshole.

Occasionally, when the missus gets together with her sis, she brings her boyfriend along. And what do you know, he's just about five years younger than me, and just about as arrogant and boastful as I used to be. He just can't keep a lid on things. Always badmouthing anything and everything that he has a disagreement with.

Just like me, way back when. I was an idiot then, he's an idiot now. I suppose it's just one of those things you grow out of when you man up a bit. In five years, I became cool as a cucumber. I can only hope he turn out the same.

I used to think my penis would someday be 20 feet long. But 1 foot is long enough I guess.

At 19 I decided that I was pretty tough and took a bet with a mate that I could beat a kangaroo in a fight.

Woke up in hospital a day later with several broken ribs and a nasty gash on my stomach lesson learned.
Yep, I can't see any reason why anyone would try to take on Australian fauna. It just doesn't seem like a good idea.

OT: I've set myself on fire when I was a kid because I though t it would be "warm". I'd rather not do that again.

In high school I used to be a staunch anti-atheist republican.

I'm not at all anymore lol.

I put a staple through my thumb in grade 5 because I wondered what it would feel like.
Would it be bad if I said I used a staple gun on my leg when I was 25 for the same reason?

Uh, I can find examples of my still being an idiot from last November, every year. It's a cyclical thing, I think I'm getting better, then I trip up. :D

I used to have a very poor work ethic and it almost cost me my high school graduation. I just went to school because I had to, so I didn't bother putting any effort into anything. These days I'm the complete opposite, I even made the dean's list last semester. Amazing what a change in attitude can do.

Every week when I learn a new, efficient, or way(or just rethink) a way to program. It starts to feel nice though after the first few times.

Though way back I used to think Alaska was in the midwest, and I alwatys called it antarctic because I knew both of them were essentially tundras, but didn't know which one was which.

Well there was the time in my first year of university when I started off drinking beer, moved on to vodka slushy, and then on to drinking 80% vodka from the bottle. And then drank a third of a litre of Johnny Walker...
Not a good morning after...

Failing to read Women's Signals until shortly after the conversation ended
I would have my Full Drivers license if I hadn't kept my Provisional License for a year longer than I should have.
Buying the amount of music equipment that I have.
Not going to the Doctor when I should have.

When I was a small child, looking directly into the business end of a lighter and flicking it on to see what would happen. Luckily, no permanent damage done, but still...
