As everyone else sat down for a rest I practised my agility on the cave walls such as jumping off them or short wall runs, I just couldn't stand it to be still for that long withoout being tired
By the time Dunce looked up she saw Damas come and sit next to me. He asked her about her and Naara. A little surpirsed by his question. She smiled and shook her head.
"Its not what you think. Were friends. Best friends in fact. I met him when we were little kids and we've been friends ever since. His dad and my great grandpa saved the world. Of course my great grandpa had to...."
Dunce waved her wand.
"Nevermind, I don't wanna bore you with my story."
Puzzled by her sudden halt in the story. I decided not to follow it up any further
"Oh...OK, I was just wondering." he said as he smiled
"I'm gonna get some sleep now, but if you ever wanna talk, and you can't talk to Naara, then I'm a good lister." He said as he got up and walked away, finding a spot in the corner of a room. smooth. Real smooth He thought to himself.
Ie settled down to sleep, but I knew he wouldn't, too many things to think about, and the incessant movement of Thiel would keep me awake to no ends
Ryaki strolled into what was supposed to be Norune Village, but it looked barren and deserted, a lone house standing watch over what was now a wasteland.
"Well, I guess it's true, the Dark Genie has been here looks like," he noted to himself. He looked towards the only other distinguishable feature of the town, a large set of doors. He started making his way towards them, before a cry in the distance made him halt.
"Waaaaiiiiit!" came the shout as an older man came jogging towards him. "You can't go in there! There are monsters and other dangerous things in there."
"I think I can handle it, old man," Ryaki retorted as he continued in.
"WAAAAAIIIIIIIITT!" the man shouted again. "At least take some food with you!" he shoved a parcel filled with Bread and water into Ryaki's hands.
"Uhhhh, OK," Ryaki muttered. "Thanks." he then continued on his way into the dungeon. After making his way through the first floor, he found the door already opened. "Well, if somebodys doing the work for me, this will just make things easier." he said as he made his way down the stairs.
Damn work, although I must admit, impressed its this far along as it is. I won't meet up with you guys yet, just because I don't know how far you'll be when I get back tomorrow, so I'll just be floating for now, I guess.
Ryaki made his way to the group, a little bit winded. "I just got into town," he answered. "I came to see if the rumors I heard were true about the Dark Genie returning. I guess they were. Anyways, I wanted to see if I could do my part to take that fat bugger down. Name's Ryaki, by the way."
Dunce got up when she heard the noise. Making her way over to Naara and hiding behind him. Suddenly a shadow appeared though it wasn't a monster. It was a man. He seemed tired and winded from trying to catch up with the group. When he announced his name Dunce was still hiding behind Naara. She put her hand over Naara's shoulder to shake Ryaki's hand.
"My names Saga. But you can just call me Dunce. Nice to meet ya Ryaki."
"Hello, I'm Naara. I'm sure you've hear of me..." I looked at the floor with embarassment. It was hard to not be noticed when your father was the greatest hero ever.
"We're heading down if you want to join us." I walked down the steps to the next level of the dungeons. There used to be 18 floors, but after the miners got trapped they closed off all of the others and opened an exit on floor 5.
"Dunce...I honestly don't know. It's not like I'm an expert on the subject..."
I looked at her and smiled, she knew I wasn't being nasty. We kept walking, and when we got to the second floor, lots of those balls were floating around everywhere.
Was I really expected to harvest all of these?!
I gathered the ones I could see and took their energy. This would be a long, ardous journey.
I heard loud thumping coming from the ground below...
Naara had no idea what to do when they would eventually fight the geenie. Thats what she expected, how many people would actually know what to do. Dunce thought that it would be a very long and arduous fight. She wondered if she would have to do the same thing as her great grandfather. She shook her head and pushed those thoughts far from her mind.
Dunce saw all the floating orbs when they made their way to the second floor. Suddenly a large noise could be heard from below. Without thinking Dunce jumped on Naara's back and pulled out her sword.
"I'm sure it's nothing too bothersome, maybe Dran was woken up or something." I laughed again, forgetting that some of the gang weren't familiar with this village's customs...
shit shit shit shit! They left without me!
These thoughts raced through my mind as I rushed through the dungeons trying to follow the "trail" left by the group.
try and get a quick nap in and I get left behind! great!
I rushed to the second floor to be greeted by the sound of Naara's voice talking about someone called "Dran"
I drew my swords and stepped through into the area.
"Honey! I'm home!"
Dunce turned to Rachel. Surprised that she didn't know who Dran was but then remembering that she wasn't from the village. She jumped off of Naara's back and spoke with a smile on her face.
