Dark Cloud: Started

"I can hear you shout, dammit! I'm trying to get to you but it almost sounds like you're right below me!"

Rhanad tried to walk for a short moment. It felt quite odd, mostly because he didn't really had the feeling he was going anywhere. Then he had a small idea.

He jumped as high as he could. Instead of landing on the estimated level of ground, he kept falling.

"Here I coooooooooaaaaaah- Oof!"

All of a sudden, the ground was back. He had landed right next to Cera, who he almost had hit.

"Owkaay, that was...odd." He said while standing up again. "Well, I found you. I hope the rest can find us real soon."

 

[Nukey]

Tayddn wandered around aimlessly amongst the clouds, not really sure where to go. The experience in this 'pool' was psychedelic to say the least.

"Holy crap...This place is sweet!" He said gleefully, somewhat enthralled in this unusual land. Then he took a moment to think about the situation further, he was lost in a place he did not know, and his friends were nowhere to be found.

"Shit...WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU GUYS!?"

Cera squealed in fright, then hugged Rhanad.
"Thank goodness, I thought I was all alone." She said, letting him go again. She heard Tayddn yell.

"WE'RE OVER HERE!" She yelled, hoping it would be useful.
"How did you find me anyway?" She asked Rhanad.

 

[StarStruckStrumpets]

"STOP FINDING EACH OTHER AND FIND ME!"

Jonas was sat, holding himself as if he were insane.

"They'll be along any moment...of course they will."

 

[Segadroid]

"I just... jumped, I guess." Rhanad said with a shrug. "Apparently this smokey...whatever it is... doesn't really go with dimensions."

He heard Jonas' voice more clear then ever.

He should be right... below me again!

"Cera, I hate to say this, but try to jump as high as you can. It sure feels weird, but I think it'll ease after a while."

With those words, Rhanad jumped. Just as before, he kept falling, suddenly seeing Jonas closing in. Uh-oh. Didn't expect it to be thát high.

"Oooow SHIIIII~"

Cera jumped just after Rhanad, willing to try anything at this point. She too kept falling.
"I don't like this!" She closed her eyes, and landed with a thump on her knees.

Jonas sat there sarcastically, watching the two fall straight past him for another 80ft or so.

"You might want to stop now."

Oddly enough, they did.

"Pretend there are steps. It worked for me."

Cera stood up shakily.
"But there aren't any steps..." She grumbled, but did as she was told. Lifting her legs, she imagined a staircase in front of her, leading up to Jonas.
"Whoa, this is trippy." She commented, trying not to look down. Cera managed to reach the top, and hugged Jonas.
"I don't like it here." She complained.

Jonas welcomingly accepted the hug, then stood up.

"Nor do I, but I don't see a way of getting out, especially when we have to make our own paths."

Jonas thought.

"I saw my Dad a minute ago...but...Oooooooooh! Follow me, straight line people!"

Cera giggled, as she and Rhanad followed behind Jonas in single file.
"Just warn me if you make more stairs." She said, not wanting to get separated again.

 

[StarStruckStrumpets]

A large plume of smoke smothered the group, encircling them.

You are the ones? Treant asked me about you. We have some discussing to do. Right after I take your friends away Jonas.

Jonas took a defensive stance, lifting his fists.

"Over my dead body!"

You aren't in a position to argue, I'm all around you.

"I work well with impossible odds."

Heh. I like you. Fine, you want impossible odds? Enjoy...

The smoke formed 12 seperate bodies, each identical in shape and size. The arms they had seemed to move like bubbles.

"Erm...plans anyone?"

Cera grabbed hold of Jonas' arm. She didn't want to be seperated again so soon.
"..Jump?" She suggested, looking at Rhanad.

Only 3 people are actually posting regulary. C'mon, catch up!

"I'm not sure I we can actually beat them without the others." Rhanad said while pulling out his longsword. "I guess we should retreat and look for Taddyn 'n co."

One of the smoke-people stepped towards Rhanad and tried to punch him. Rhanad evaded the punch are slashed clean through him.

What the... Not even a scratch?

 

[Sparrow]

Marty looked foward, only to see clouds and mist. He was also fairly certain he saw a pear floating atop a cloud, but he ignored it in fear of his sanity. He took one, extremely slow and careful step, and instantly fell face first onto a hard surface. As he got up, rubbing his nose, he spotted Cera, Jonas and Rhanad.

"I hurt my nose."

I HAVE RETURNED FROM THE LAND OF THE FRENCH

Vids stumbled around the mist, practically blind in the mist. He'd heard noises, but they all seemed to be around him. Surrounding him.

"GUYS?! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!" He yelled into the pink oblivion

That is enough. You have proved yourselfs strangely selfless. You are what Treant expected, but the weapons you have will serve you nothing precious against his legions. You must go, we will take you to us.

The cloud-things disappeared, then, the environment slowly seemed to break away like pixels. The group were standing outside of the pool. The little boy spoke.

"Our transport...take it."

A large, blue circle appeared, hovering above the ground.

"Last time you told us to jump into something, you..."

"GO."

"Okay, okay..."

"I'm so confused.." Cera said, feeling exhausted from all the strange things happening. Regardless, you followed Jonas towards the large blue object.

Jonas walked through, his jaw dropping when the colossal tree's eyes met with his. Jonas fell to the floor in sheer shock. The magnificent oak-looking structure of earth looked down at him humbly.

"Oh...my...oh...my...oh sweet mother..."

Jonas stopped when Cera's knee hit him in the back of the head.

I've been planning an RP for about 3 days with my good friend Segadroid, who has been kind enough to contribute, and was just going to inform you of it as this will be my swan song. Sad, but true, I know.

Cera jumped back, landing on Rhanad's foot instead.
"Oh jeez... I'm so sorry guys." She cringed, before spotting the tree herself. She simply stared in awe.
