I got a date from a dating site, and it was a fun date. We didn't go on a second date, I mean she wanted someone taller and she herself was just a hair taller than me. Strange reason but hey I didn't doubt her honesty.

Good for meeting likeminded people in a new city, certainly. And possibly getting laid, held up in one experience of mine, though it didn't exactly result in a deep relationship.

There are a couple of interesting sites, but actually testing the waters is much more entertaining.

For the record, I'm a member of gk2gk.com, and a former member of otakubooty.com (so named because the site's founder is John Booty). Neither has anything really special... plus I tend to meet guys a lot more easily through friends.
