Yeah, I'm not Harley though and I think there was a time when the Joker was recruiting some people - teenagers - and they all referred to him as Uncle J.

I think it may have been Batman Beyond in one of those... I have no idea if that ever happened in a comic, though.

Anyways, the story intro has intrigued me and I think it might actually be pretty good. I just don't like that the heroes or villains will whine to you when you don't answer the call because a bus just landed on grandma who was trying to save a kitten from it as you try to lift the thing before it goes sky high with both of them and the pet store that's just right near it... I'm sorry guys, you're full grown heroes and you've been at this longer than I, I'm pretty sure you don't need me to hold your hand and you shouldn't be upset with me doing my job.

From what I understand, it's not going to be a case of Superman standing in Metropolis handing out quests to everyone, but a more freeform experience - A player sees an armoured truck and can either ignore it, escort it (if they're a hero) or wreck it and steal the cash (if they're sensible). If a hero escorts it, some NPC villains (or other players) will try to hijack it and you have to fight them off, if a villain hijacks it, NPC heroes will come to try to stop them before they can make a getaway.

Like I say, that's my understanding and, if they keep the tiers in, it will be AWESOME.

Oh there are, but apparently you'll get Batman and them phoning you to help them with a mission of theirs and if you blow them off, they'll get pissy with you. Even though - like I said - you were trying to save Granny McPherson and the kitten from a bus - that I probably threw when I got bored - and the pet store/gas station hybrid company of the future from going KABLAM! So yeah, they get pissy when you're too busy saving lives.

I still have no idea how Villains will handle it though... especially since they're prideful and that calling for help from a rookie is a sign of weakness rather than dominance. I do believe that the Joker will try to kill you, however, so if he doesn't try that and instead whines I will be displeased. I'm sure I'll appreciate the game not trying to kill me, but still it's something that'll bother me.

I think the trailer was pretty epic..but as for the game, the SOE logo gives me chills. I'm going to wait for a while and see what the Escapist's reviewers say.
