If Velox does not use his powers to fuel our poison then he shall be left well enough alone. However should he and Legion ally, they're is no question as to what the next cycle will hold for us, and I will put them down. The winds firmly blowing around them, indicating the Sky-Bird was irritated.

The fox... I have already spoken with him. I have promised not to attack him, yet I know that he must seek out allies if he wishes to survive. If he sides with the Legion, I will side against him.

The rippling lake suddenly became calm, as smooth as glass despite Tempest's winds.

I am glad that you have not changed so much, Tempest.

A soft laugh curled from the lake like fog. She knew Tempest for being irritable, and enjoyed ruffling his feathers from time to time.

Dreth could see off in the distance the Earthfather standing, the massive being it was visible from great distances. It did not seem to be moving though, perhaps it was occupied by something else. Dreth wondered whether he would be forced to fight the thing or not, but he felt that one part of Adtonitus' speech ran true. He turned back to Executor.

"Iff yoourr gooalll isss too ffeeedd uupoonn thhiss pllaannett, tthhenn yoou wwiilll bee ffoorcceddd too ffighht thhe Jjootuunn. Hee isss nearly ssstaatic annd ddoesss nnoot aappreeciaate chhaannge off thhe lliikesss yoou iinnteennd."

Tempest breathed a small gust out of his nostrils and calmed himself. Before casting an eye at the beings that prepared for battle near the cliffs. I am worried that even our combined might not be enough for Death and Decay. Who knows how much power they, the ones that caused Man to fall and reduce this world to ash, have in reserve after so much of their element has reeked upon the world.

How does your guy repeat d's and h's like that? How would you pronounce that?

The Jotun did not respond at first, but the rock within the lake radiated a cold, hard feeling. Eventually, the Earthfather spoke, I have long desired a revenge upon the fire and steel that wrought such scars upon my body. My dreams have been sullied only by the rage I have felt, and in the darkest times of the Atomic Flame Deluge I held to sanity on by my plans of a reckoning. This is fair. This is right

Even so, I cannot force you to fight alongside me. True, they need not fall if they do not oppose me, but know now that if they raise their forces against me, I will crush them.

The red storm released a loud cracking noise, as if the sky itself was cracking in two, there was a huge flash. Many separate tongues of bloody lightning flew from the heavens and struck at several places in the colossi's surrounding area, turning the sand to glass. A tongue struck Amphetrite, the bolt spreading through her lake, the waters turned red, and began to shrink.

V shifted his weight nervously. The mountain and the bird were talking...he could tell that much from where he sat. He didn't know exactly what to think of it yet, but a certain tension in the air made him uncomfortable about it. Most uncomfortable.

He glanced back at the creatures of decay and darkness that stood before him. They seemed preoccupied in their own matters. Perhaps this was his chance.

Adtonitus will surely remember. I just hope he's in good spirits.

A small flare appeared in front of V, quickly taking the shape of a moth. It hovered for a moment as he appraised his work. When he was sufficiently pleased, it flew towards the avatar of thunder.

V glanced up to the sky as he sent his messenger.

All shall be reformed. As is the cycle.

Adtonitus yawned as he folded his arms within his robe, the large sleeves hiding his hands as he realized he was standing on the foot of the Jotun. He snapped his fingers as a lightningbolt met him, and he disappeared. A joining lightning bolt crashed down, then stopped about an inch away from The Jotun's shoulder. The lightning formed into Adtonitus, who gently fell the last inch. Now in contact with Old Hill Bones, Adtonitus could communicate at will. However, before that he looked around and could see for miles. "What's the human phrase for it?" Adtonitus muttered. He brightened up. "Ah yes, 'I can see my house from here!'" He chuckled. Adtonitus then began to speak to Old Hill Bones. "Good Evening, Earth." Adtonitus was usually formal when speaking to his antithesis. He sensed the other elementals as well. "Well well well, it's a party in here, isn't it?" He chuckled

Oh how simultaneous posts always collide.

Tempest looked up and saw the burst of lightning hit his sister, and at nearly the same time Adtonitus appeared on the land's shoulder, and without so much as a Second thought Tempest zoomed towards the Thunder God with talons out, grabbing him and pinning him to the Earth's rocky skin. Projecting directly into the god's mind as the winds around them turned into a small squall. You would so dare as to start a battle in that manner?! You've sunk low Adtonitus, and never have I seen a reason to execute someone then by witnessing such a sin firsthand!

Dreth looked up at the sky as it rumbled once again. Despite the Colossus of Thunder's departure, something was not right with this storm. The red lightning seemed random and unnatural. Dreth guessed it was this storm that had brought him here; although why, if there even was a why, was beyond him. Perhaps this was a signal of something important about to happen; Dreth at least guessed that it was why all the elementals were active.

What does this storm foreshadow? The end of something or a beginning?

"Thunder"

The voice rumbled out loud; Earth did not care to share his thoughts directly with his elemental opposite number. He might well prove friendly, but that was still only a possibility

"How do you fare, Lighting? It has been a long time..."

Sorry about that... How shall we make this work better? Shall I edit, or you?

V swore under his breath as Adtonitus vanished.

So much for that I suppose.

He quickly withdrew his moth and pondered his next move.

Adtonitus struggled against the talons. "What the hell are you talking about, Tempest? What are you doing?" Adtonitus managed to get a hand free and aimed his finger at the sky. White lightning shot up from it, Adtonitus melding along with it, reforming a few feet away. He drew Heavenly Wrath from the sheath, creating a thunderclap as the blade bloomed into existence, the size of a normal katana. Adtonitus held it out in front of him, aiming the white blade directly at the Wind Colossus. "What is wrong with you?" He demanded.

Amphitrite suddenly lost her contact in the lake, forced out by something she did not understand. From the ocean, she could see new colossi gathering around the Earthfather. Perhaps her presence was no longer wanted. She rested in the cold waters, content to be away from the suddenly inhospitable lake.

"Back down, Thunder" The voice had been loud before, but now it was as much felt as heard, a bass rumble like the roar of an earthquake.

"You have smitten our sister, and we rightly retaliate. Stand down and pay weregild, or you may call yourself my enemy"

There is nothing wrong with me, you are the one that attacks your own kin without warning Adtontus! The giant eagle shrieked as he boomed his thoughts aloud, creating a hurricane force wind that whipped the Thunder god's clothes and hair about. Tempest remained ready to strike as The Land boomed a warning to his antithesis. Tempest still was enraged beyond meaning, and was ready to kill his brother and rid the world of storms forever.

Adtonitus looked around wildly. "What the hell are you-" His eyes came to rest on the pond he knew was Amphitrite. His eyes widened as he saw the red pool of her avatar shrink down. "Water...is not naturally that color." He thought, the adrenaline slowing everything down compared to him. He ever so slowly turned his head towards the sky and saw the red lightning dance across the sky. He watched as red lightning creeped across the sky, straight towards him. He gasped as it hit him like a hammer, causing him to rocket backwards. Adtonitus clawed at his chest as he bucked from the force of the blow. It hadn't hurt him, or even done anything, but it was the sheer betryal that affected him. "So...This is what 'betrayal' feels like. Little wonder so many humans took their own lives because of it." He thought, as if all this was happening to someone else and not him. He was out of breath, the bolt having hit his solar plexus as clutched at Heavenly Wrath. "The lightning...is not...mine...I can't control... it." He managed to wheeze out as he collected his breath.

The once brilliant lake shrank all the way down to the size of a hubcap. The small red pool churned slowly in a spiral, then lifted, expanding, it formed a huge avatar about 200ft tall. The avatar was faceless, and had the vague form of a human, although its bottom half was replaced with a spiralling, churning mass of bloody water.

"I am Bein, I am the anger and the battle, the fury and revenge, I have rent more souls than any physical god. To those who fight, those whome I dwell within, you shall be spared, yet all those who cower and ponder, you shall be consumed by me." came a deep watery voice, eminating from the being with the utmost hatred.

Tempest turned when the lake burst from the ground, turning into a grotesque abomination of his sister. The eagle let loose a shriek at the creature, and spread his wings wide, ready to throw this new foe to and fro with a mighty gust. Where have you come from Bloodwater?! And what have you done with Amphitrite! Answer before I rain you upon this battlefield! He said, the winds causing the body of Bein to become choppy, and churn about.
