Meet Meshuggah.
To be honest, this is the only song they've done like this, but... Jesus Christ.
There's a fair amount of people claiming this to be the heaviest song they've ever heard. I've heard heavier, but this is indeed ball-crushing.

I think both Death Metal and Techno is shit, so if it has not been done before, please dont do anything about it. I would just have to kill you if you did.

Me, and my friend voodoopigs as some of you may know him, were talking today about something very unusual.

The idea of a new type of music...Death-Techno

A Hybrid of Death Metal and Techno.

What do you think about this?
Look up Gabber, that's the closest thing to it so far.....

Speedcore works as well

I say that Angerfist and Delta 9 are some of the closest people to doing such.

EDIT: Is Drum and Bass Included? if so then it might be the best idea possible.

Your thinking of metalcore, death metal only merged with the post harcore/ emo stuff in recent years realy.

Aggrotech is extremely agressive techno/industrial/ebm but i have not heard any death growls come from it.

Anyway Electro Ragga-Death jazz fusion is where is at!

I suppose you've never heard of KMFDM, eh? Some of their stuff can certainly fit your bill.

It already exists and has for a long time.

Thought I'd throw a few clips in that might fit the bill, tho they may all be a bit on the 'light side' to be 'death techno', they're a decent blend of metal and electronica:

There's KMFDM as mentioned by Valiance, the Chun Li fight from the only good Streetfighter movie might be a decent example.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRH9k4VXMTU better sound

Pitchshifter's Genius, as seen in Test Drive 5.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGcdcVblZ-8 and if that's too light...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7QTCaQS3zM is their harder, earlier stuff.

Lastly here's how not to do it, this is from the Spawn movie soundtrack, which had some good collaborations between metal and techno bands, but then had to do THIS to 'For whom the bell tolls' by Metallica.

Having said that, the Slayer track with Atari Teenage Riot certainly has something, with their version of 'No remorse'

I warned you!

Okay, to all those ravid techno fans (I knew they will attack me...): I'm not talking about fast-paced music, good beats and so on. I agree that there is "real techno" and... techno crap.

When I say "techno = not a genre", I'm referring to all the crappy songs that are on the radio non-stop - Lady Gaga, just to name one. Sorry, but I do not consider singing one or two sentences with a looped background a "song".

It's just few steps from the "UMCA UMCA UMCA" rave music.
Why do people seem to think that because they don't like something it shouldn't exist, and anyone who does like it is retarded?

Just listen to your stuff and let other people listen to theirs..

I hate metal, I think it's just annoying noise, but that doesn't mean I declassify it as music. Everyone has their own personal tastes... Stop trying to piss people off!

What do you call it when you listen to a good rock music on the radio, just to be bombarded with techno junk?

Or someone with a HEADSET has set the volume so high that everyone within 10 meters can hear it? That's forcing others to listening your music. That's actually worse than just criticizing other songs. Especially when you are in a BUS. And you can't relocate, because it's crowded.

I think it could work. I'm a fan of death metal and I've heard a song that was about what I think you're looking for:
"Comtemptuous" by Napalm Death (death metal/grindcore), from the album "Fear, Emptiness, Despair"

Another song--though it's more a Thrash metal band--is Coroner's "Grim 5 (No-Religion Remix)" from their "The Unknown Unreleased Tracks 1985-95" album.

There are no videos on Youtube and I'm too lazy to check anywhere else, but you should hear these.

I'd have mentioned Godlike if you are gonna mention KMFDM. Pitchshifter however are fucking sweet! I actually managed to get my hands on all of their albums finally, well, except Death Industrial, but that is really really limited.
