"Come to bed, dear."
"Hang on, I need to do an agility roll to see if i'll succed. What's your constitution?"

I kid, I kid.
These sort of lists are always to general. Everyone is different.

Insulting? Not really. A good reason to avoid stereotyping though. From what I can tell the problem that seems to be unsaid is that non-geek males are poor communicators and that "geeks" are much better at this(With the resulting benefits sexually and to the relationship more than making up for problems in other areas). I don't know about the rest of you, but I find communication to be a two way street, and that women can be just as bad at it as men can be.

isn't this really "desperate guys make great lovers"?

of course the reason we make poor lovers are we are physically unfit and generally unattractive so good luck feeling horny enough to do anything with us!
Just to make sure...
Sarcasm, right?
...yeah... sarcasm...

No. Unfortunately these are the sad, crazy words of somebody who is totally jaded to the entire area of romance. I recently gave up trying to have a relationship, I just don't like people enough to want to spend time with them anymore. I guess I'll just have to work hard with my education, get immensely rich and buy lots and lots of prostitutes to make myself feel adequate.

I resent that! All of it. Although I would be incredibly devoted if a woman would give me a chance.

Too much generalization. When you think about it, the definitions of "Geek" are not the same. What is a geek? a person who plays video-games and has a computer? tell that to the jocks on a College campus.
Yeah, clearly the author of that article is unfamiliar with college frat boys who like to gather around for rousing games of Halo and Call of Duty (Disclaimer: I have nothing against either of those games I'm just using them as examples, so don't jump down my throat) and probably have about as much brains bwtn the whole fraternity as a grain of sand.

Haha, pretty funny - you guys need to lighten up (a lot).

If you're actually offended by it then I laugh thrice-fold at you.

I'm not sure how to take it but kind of in a light hearted way is best than going around try to be a geeky cassanova thinking they are a god in the sack after reading that.

Haha! Yeah that's gotta be satire, right?

Actually, it's probably even funnier if it isn't.

I wouldn't be offended if the article was a joke
Which it wasn't.

The paragraph at the bottom of the page disagrees. Like I said, lighten up.

Wow, that was both offensive and unfunny. I didn't know some people just group an entire sub-culture together without thinking that perhaps the people within that sub-culture are all different. No, of course not. They must all think the same and act the same.

Ignorance: making me lose faith in humanity since 1994.

It's generalising. After all, all of them are things any suave gentleman adheres to and believe me, some geeks can be quite the elitist snobs which I wouldn't recommend to any person of their opposite sex.

I don't like Star Trek... why would sitting me in front of star trek make me forget about my needs? I know it's generalising >.>
