What if they're raising the alarm because he's doing something very anti-republican?
Funny how the only difference between a greedy, corrupt, dangerously incompetent, right-wing grifter who'd sell their own mother for a dollar, and a proud patriot whistleblower, is whether they're selling "orange man bad" on the lecture/talking head circuit and in book deals. Especially the ones with decades-long careers of being greedy, corrupt, dangerously incompetent, right-wing grifters who'd sell their own mother for a dollar.

Really funny for all the shit these people say about Trump, precious little if any is actually about policy but rather aesthetics. Almost as if they don't have a problem with what he actually does, but rather how he does it and what he says.

Why good golly gee, it's almost as if greedy, corrupt, dangerously incompetent right-wing grifters who'd sell their own mothers for a dollar -- and in some cases convicted felons -- are greedy, corrupt, dangerously incompetent right-wing grifters, who this time around are cashing in on Trump derangement at the end of his first term for a quick buck.

It's not like we have a pre-sales chart-topping burn-burner of a "tell all" to be released tomorrow by none other than honest, moral, upstanding citizen Michael Cohen.

That's not to say that those aren't problems, hell, Trump wouldn't be trying the mail thing if he didn't think it'd hurt Biden's chances.
If we're being fair, here, Trump doesn't need a rational reason to do something stupid.

True, but in this case he just happens to be doing something to hurt his opponent's chances a little before the election, doesn't look like his usual random seeming flailings this time.

You haven't been listening then. They are talking about actual policy. Have you listened to everything Miles Taylor has said? There is PLENTY about policy here. Aesthetics are the least of our worries.

You are forgetting that there are still conservatives who have no intention of denying healthcare to the poor, eliminating food stamps, and trying to kill the homeless here. Hell even Bush expanded medicare. Even some conservatives voted to keep the ACA.. That is the thing though. Trump is bypassing congress altogether to get his way when he is told no so is undermining the balance of legislative and executive branches now. They no longer have a chance to vote to save healthcare because he is killing it without them. They can't provide affordable housing if he controls HUD. They cannot do anything to help the environment if he controls the EPA, they cannot feed the poor if he kicks everyone off food stamps as he has been doing. We ARE talking about POLICY this entire time. You just buried your head in the sand and refuse to see it.

It is what he is actually doing here that is the problem AND how he does it. Aesthetics are BS, malignant actions are the problem.

It is telling though that you willfully downplay Trumps actual actions here. So many are screwed already losing everything they have and becoming homeless and many more are about to be and you want to play it out like it is " aesthetics" people are worried about.

Meanwhile, at CNN, one of the go to sources of anti-Trump news.

One of their correspondents takes issue with Trump echoing Dwight Eisenhower in pointing out the enmeshed nature of the military industry and the government. His problem seems to be that Trump said it, not that it's a problem Trump is complicit in despite calling it out.

The chief critics of Trump prefer to not engage with what Trump does, just what he says.To the point where if he, in his kookiness, shines a light on something they don't want people to notice, they'll deny it exists and substitute in some platonic ideal of "badness" that shuffles the actual problems into the background.

In this case laughing at an idiot who doesn't understand what the military industrial complex is.

Or as I said on Twitter, one wonders how many times this chud has appeared on CNN nestled neatly between ad breaks filled with Northrup-Grumman, General Dynamics, Raytheon, Boeing, and BAE Systems commercials. He's another disposable talking head brought to us by the repeal of the Smith-Mundt Act, no shit he's going to try to steer people away from inconvenient topics like for-profit forever wars and the military-industrial complex.

Not you too.
Well, I had to say something, and I'm not sure exactly how close to the new forum's rules it would skirt to say "pencil-dick, crypto-fascist spook, bargain-bin AT&T employee propagandist".

My favorite is you can find similar messages from faces at MSNBC and the NYT, along with other rags and e-rags.

Meanwhile, back on the fight over Biden's economic policies.

"Putting bankers in power over economic policy has been toxic and has lead to decades of a slipping middle class and a staggering wealth inequality."
"Alright, but what if we hire black bankers?"

It doesn't matter what Trump says, WATCH HIS OTHER HAND. He talks all DEEP state BS when they are on him for calling soldiers buried in France losers.
I keep telling you are looking at the wrong hand here.
Yet Trump is the one trying to spend MORE Money than even the defense department was planning to feed the military industrial complex:

IS Trump doing anything about the military industrial complex? YES?! He is feeding it more than ever before!
It isn't the " Aesthetics" that are the problem here, while you are all oogling over something he blubered about, he is over here planning the BIGGEST Military budget of them all!

Yea and they aren't talking about what his other hand is doing either. CNN helped get Trump elected, they feed off each other.

And here you are worried about corporate cabinet members. LOOK AT TRUMP'S CABINET. The worst part of that is even Trumps corporate stooges were not willing to go along with his illegal madness so he has replaced most of them with corporate stooge " yes" men. Go ahead and tell em about Trump's cabinet before going on about who they are thinking about for Biden. List Trump's cabinet and what they did, and what they have done while in office,..

"orange man bad"
Why don't you go ahead and list what Trump has actually done while in office that makes him bad. Not just his BS, but his actions and the impact on the people who rely on those things to survive. For example, What has Trump done for affordable housing and the skyrocketing homelessness every year since he has taken office and how his decisions and his HUD department has managed that? Lets talk about what is happening to all the people he kicked off food stamps and how they are surviving now?Let's talk about Trumps attack on medicaid and the ACA? Let's talk about how Trump provided our first responders and general public plenty of PPE so we don't have 180000 dead Americans right now? That's not what happened? Go ahead and tell us what really happened then. Or how about who Trump put in charge of the EPA and what they have done there, the Treasury? The Post office? Oh.. Have you EVEN bothered to find out? What is the actual impact of what Trump has done to help all those struggling to not become homeless as we speak and what will happen when they do because they cannot afford to pay their bills?

Please define what exactly " Orange man bad" means to you? All of this and more? a shit ton of people literally dying due to losing their public assistance and their healthcare? Yea I guess lots of Americans dying and at risk of dying due to his policies may actually be a reason to think he is a very bad person indeed.

Yes, and same with Biden.
I have been, It looks like an old man hand. He isn't doing much with it currently. He isn't the ones with malicious intentions here like Trump is, he is a different type of person entirely. As with most of what people are going on about, we have 2 primary complaints about Biden:
1) He says stupid things.
2) OTHER people, not Biden himself, speculate, spread rumors or make assumptions about Biden policies that have not actually changed and everyone gets in an uproar about it.

IN addition, Depending on the cabinet position, we expect some positions to be filled by people who have worked for corporations/ banking/ finance, as they are also often the most qualified for economic, treasury and federal reserve positions. We are going to need some talented people to be able to bring the economy back on track with it in free fall right now. Usually big companies hire some of the most talented people, that does not necessarily mean they are bad at their job or have ulterior motives, what is important here is the policy of the person who is appointing them and what they actually can bring to the table. We have plenty of people who have worked for companies that did not agree with the bad things they did, the guy sleeping in my bed right now worked in banking and finance as well and he certainly doesn't agree with what the banks were doing. You have to look at what they are bringing to the table here that Biden's cabinet actually needs to be able to repair the economic damage being done right now.

As it is however, they certainly cannot be worse than what we have going on. Trump's planned K recovery is his actual plan here. There is NO help coming for those falling from him. The ONLY help we can expect is if it affects his poll numbers before the election, after that, people are just screwed as he doesn't need them after that. His plan here is to save the rich and destroy the poor. At least with Biden, him saying stupid things like "poor people are just as good as white people" while trying to actually get help for the poor is at least trying to do something rather than pretend like the poor do not deserve to exist at all as Trump has been doing.

And then you just link another prime example of #2. Read it. OTHER PEOPLE just speculating about what could happen, not about anything actually happening.
Show me stuff Biden is actually doing here. Constant barrage of misinformation attributed to him that isn't even happening, just an idea of what is possible.. it is possible aliens come down and reclaim trumps hair too, that doesn't mean it is actually happening. That might actually be more likely than this.

You really have to read what you link, This sounds great:
Biden’s team agreed, for example, that low-income Americans would be automatically enrolled in Biden’s public option and that Medicare, not a private company, would run it
SO the only thing is says for definite that Biden has said he would do is actually really good and the rest is just people discussing their own positions/ ideas? If this is what his other hand is doing, that is pretty awesome tbh.
