Agreed! It feels very much like a Male Major, and everything look s like GiTS...Eldan said:Someone watched Ghost in the Shell.
And I'm not complaining.
Not only that, but they have camo suits, spider tanks and mind-hacking.Jaredin said:Agreed! It feels very much like a Male Major, and everything look s like GiTS...Eldan said:Someone watched Ghost in the Shell.

...I love it
It's probably messages within messages. I thought immediately of human plus or augmented human to the power of 3 indicating the third installment. With a title like Deus Ex it could also incorporate something like a Hydron (a hydrongen atom with no electron) which is in essence a single proton. The 3 could also indicate the third dimension if they're going the 3D route.Sicamat said:I think it stands for height, or it could be the symbol of transhumanism.Tiamat666 said:Maybe h+ stands for "augmented human". And the power of three could mean either that it's the third Deus Ex title, or that some h+ is incredibly badass.Echer123 said:What's the [h+] 3 at the end of the trailer supposed to mean?
A google search only brought up hydronium.
How was the original Deus Ex not mainstream?Sacman said:It's a mainstream game it's not going to be the same... at best I think we get linear good and bad choices leading to an objective... I know it won't be the same...
According to the myriad articles about the actual gameplay demo that the press got to examine, the answer to that question is yes.BenzSmoke said:Still want to know if there are multiple paths through a level.
it was released by a mainstream company but it wasn't aimed at as wide an audience as the new Deus Ex...or Invisible War for that matter...FaceFaceFace said:How was the original Deus Ex not mainstream?Sacman said:It's a mainstream game it's not going to be the same... at best I think we get linear good and bad choices leading to an objective... OT: I hope its Deus Ex level design, actual choices that affect the story (Deus Ex had what, two choices that actually changed the storyline in any noticeable way? If that?) and combat with modern sensibilities, i.e. bullets aren't just minor inconveniences to an enemy who suddenly dies after a magic number of bullets have entered their bodies.
Well my personal hope is that they make essentially a good version of what Invisible War was supposed to be. That's also their stated intention. Of course they're perfectly capable of failing dramatically.Sacman said:it was released by a mainstream company but it wasn't aimed at as wide an audience as the new Deus Ex...or Invisible War for that matter...FaceFaceFace said:How was the original Deus Ex not mainstream?Sacman said:It's a mainstream game it's not going to be the same... at best I think we get linear good and bad choices leading to an objective... yeah but they do have a huge budget and being published by Square means they have to worry about at least breaking even. so there is like a 90% chance it will just turn out to be another lack luster shooter with like 2 gimmicks, the setting and a tube that shoots lemons or something...FaceFaceFace said:Well my personal hope is that they make essentially a good version of what Invisible War was supposed to be.
