Ok that is a bit long but what I am trying to say is young males always have a glamourous view of war (exeptions if they have had experience) it seems inbuilt and I dont think a CG or event in a game (especially one like cod) will cause them much reflection.
I doubt it all it will make them think is cool explosion this looks great and to be fair why would you care about a bunch of polygons that you only see for a few seconds? but I dont believe COD has ever really tried to show what war is like, why would it? reality dosent usually equate to great gaming MW to me has always felt like a fast arcadey shooter and thats not a bad thing if I wanted to play a game that focuses more on the emotional strains and strengths war can affect people with I would play something like Valkyria Chronicles.JoJoDeathunter said:

How many of you will play thru MW3's campaign now? I rather watch of film of it on youtube, it's quicker and less of a waste of my gaming time.
I rather think raping and ravishing a victimized NPC of War that gave into it pleasurbaly would generate a better Media Buzz frenzy.

I wish games didn't do this. I understand that war doesn't care about your age and that they're trying to make a point about how bad these guys are, but I still don't want to watch it. It makes me uneasy. I wonder if they'll give the option to skip it again?

just pixels, this shit happens in a third world country no one cares, it happens in a video game "wont someone think of the children" .
Because the rest of the game is interactive I guess, and the powers that be tend to consider things on the whole. Like how Mass Effect is a filthy sex simulator, despite the actual rumpy pumpy taking up a fraction of the entire content.
