How are those builds going?
I got 'em all now, I just need to get to a computer where Imageshack isn't blocked. I'll have them up this afternoon.

Oh, and yes, I have been watching this thread, the only reason I am posting in it now is to say this: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! YEAAAAAAAAAH! SCREW YOU SHANKS, WHAT THE FUCK DID I SAY WOULD HAPPEN TO YOU, YEA! Sweet, Sweet, Retribution. Thank you karma, for punishing this man for all the atrocitys he committed while playing this game.
Germany never betrayed me, in fact I have nothing but good things say about BoVine's alliance. Although I don't doubt he was also constantly analyzing the best way to take me down, I certainly know I was doing the same to him ;)

I'll be fine with the tropical islands but thanks anyway Saskwach, and yeah good game everyone.

Due to my main computer being dead, and my laptop having more viruses than a chronic disease convention, the results are going to be delayed until tomorrow. In the meantime, Mr. Norton and I will be waging desperate battle against whatever spirit has posessed my computer.

*mutters* House arrest on a luxurious European island was good enough for Napoleon...

You're so cute when you try to be hardline. *blows kiss*

Also, I had a feeling some weird happenings would go on around Vienna - and behold the surreal argy-bargy taking place.

What I mean by that is that I'm going to be posting results whether I have all of them or not. If that means only one person actually moves, so be it. I don't like having to alter the schedulde like I've been doing.

Sas, way, way too risque. :D
I know what you mean though, for some reason those troops decided to barge ahead into enemy territory where they're surrounded on all sides, with no way out. The only things that bugging me is that with two units in different places, it'd be a cinch to get rid of that mad, backstabbing Frenchman.

I'd just like to state that I believe that it can't be called back stabbing when I'm so blunt about it I could club you over the head. I mean really, when I swear eternal vengance and then proceed to describe how I will open up a can of whoop-ass disguised as a can of Cured French Ham you need to consider that in the very least side-stabbing. If not outright front stabbing. I'd also like to state in closing that sanity is all relative.

Finally in closing, NO BODY TAKES THE HOMELANDS!!!

Kraut.

Ha! I promised Wendesday, and this time my words are true!

I've posted two maps for this round, seeing as things have gotten so complicated. The first map has all the arrows and stuff on it, the second has the results of the turn.

This next map has the results once those orders were resolved.

As you can see, I need retreat orders for the units in Rom and Gal. I'd like to get those quickly, because I'm going to be in Florida next week and I'm not sure if I'll be able to get internet there. I'm hoping to run one more turn before I leave.

Yes, we should also have the disbandments and builds sent in. I believe I have two builds, was it? I think you know Bovine.

They have to wait after the retreats (unless people feel it won't affect their choices, I guess). For example, I might conceivably - though how I can't quite see - want to know where those two retreating armies are going, or if they're simply disbanding. I don't think that those two armies will change my plans, but who knows?

Re: Vienna. A ways back we talked about how games were imitating life. Again, it seems that this is occurring: Vienna was a very important bulwark against the Ottoman empire's invasion of Europe. It was the furthest Turkey ever got; it was sieged twice in 160 years of tension and conflict between the Ottomans and the European powers. The final siege was broken by King Jan Sobieski of Poland, which marked the turning point in the Habsburg-Ottoman conflict, and the end of Ottoman aggression in Europe (a fact I'm somewhat proud of - we Poles saved Europe from the east twice and we never get any credit. Just to prove my point I dare you to guess the second time.).
In this game, Turkey is finding Vienna quite the sticking point - as it was in history.

I'm too tired and it's too late for witty commentarty. Here's the map.

Retreats were to sil and apu.

Send me build orders, please. Builds are as follows:

France: build 2
Germany: disband 1
Turkey: no change.

Would you look at that: I have no builds with which to react to those oh-so-important retreats. All for nothing, I guess.

Mm, all for nothing, just like this war...

HOW MANY MORE LIVES MUST BE LOST TO THIS PETTY BOUNCING!
