They're... ok, I guess. I only use them as a decoration of sorts, to spruce up the part under my avatar, but yeah... I don't really give a rat's ass any more, I have my Dance Dance Kitty Revolution badge and that's all I need (especially since it's obvious I'm never going to get any of the Matrix badges).

I am working on getting 1000 posts =3

I've wanted that badge for quite a long time. Other than that, the pony badge, That Is Half Mine

Ask the winner who received it in the contest. I called him and told him there was a contest, and I gave him the answer so he could enter o.o...

*Twitch* ...it's half mine o_O

At first I paid attention. Then like a kid with severe ADD, I realized how its like achievement points: Pointless, but cool to have nonetheless.

To be honest I am not a huge fan, cause it will lead to people making posts in order to get badges when they should be just having fun and posting their minds.

Post count/badges don't make the user. You could have any number of posts/badges and still be a idiot. True they get your threads more noticed but for all the wrong reasons.

I am here cause I want to engage in conversation with my fellow gamer, not work towards pixels that mean nothing to me.

I only tried to get two badges, Bamalam!, and Cyber Celeb. I got them both, so now I don't bother with trying to get badges.

Getting a hard badge is fufilling for a few seconds. They're almost drugs. Once you get your first hit, all you want is your second. Then your third, fourth and so on.
Define a "Hard Badge" for me.

Couldn't care less about either badges here or achievements in games. Well, with the exception of particularly funny achievements - some flash game unlocked an achievement when I sucked too badly at it. That made me laugh a bit.

I liked badges at first, though now I don't care much about them. I seem to recall one of the staff members saying that the badges could have an extra use to them, so that would be cool if there was some sort of "Shop" to exchange badges for in-forum goodies whatever they may be.

It's all well and good if I get a badge in the course of typical usage of the site, but I don't go out of my way to chase them. Don't see the point, really.

One of two of the Forum Wars badges, maybe the Thanks Badge, the On Fire badge, Cyber Celeb, "Long-Time Listener, First Time Caller"? There are most likely more, but I haven't come across them.

I still have my badges turned on though I don't particularly care about them. The ones I've got on show are the ones I happen to like (for whatever reason). They're in an order that I want but only as far as aesthetics go. I don't strive for badges, if I get one then I get one - the only one I wanted to get was Bamalam, but other than that I've got all my badges but accident or luck. Overall I think its a nice feature but not one that I'm going to fuss about.
