Yes, all the time. It's actually a really good way to shake loose some ideas you have. Yep, my greatest partner in figuring out problems is... myself.

I do sometimes, when I'm doing something that means I must commit alot of thought its often easier to say them aloud then keep in your head. For instance when I make a game I'll go

"Right so I need this bit green, and if it moves to the right a bit it will trigger that off" etc etc.

All the time. It's nice to talk to myself because I share the same opinions as myself. Don't look at me like that!

I do all the time. In fact I'm doing it right now. Part of it for me is I think I kinda like the sound of my own voice and sometimes I just go crazy trying to keep all the words in my head.

I do talk to myself on occasion, but most of the time I do it in my head. I have talked to myself out loud, but not as often as in my head. The only thing that slightly worries me is the fact that sometimes I don't even realize I'm talking to myself. But, sometimes talking to myself helps me with whatever I'm having trouble with at the time.

Yeah I've done it sometimes.

Shut up they'll think I'm crazy!

Well I can't go lying to them about me.

You didn't have to say anything though!

...

In all seriousness I have talked out loud to nobody in particular before. And I have had conversations in my head with myself. I don't know if that really counts though. I don't see anything wrong with it as it can help keep one's mind active and healthy.

"In order to find his equal, an Irishman is forced to talk to God."

When all else fails or the big man is in the can, I talk to myself. :)

Unfortunatly yeah i do, but in my head.
To make things weirder, i even have in jokes with myself.
Ill be like, in my head, man im bored.
And then the 'other me' will be all, your mums bored
Then ill be like your face is bored.
And this goes on till the end of time.
How sad am I, huh?

Don't want to sound crazy but I do it only when I'm alone. I occasionally respond to myself (pretty creepy I know) Be it insane or not but i find it rather relaxing saying all sort of crazy things.

Not so much as talk, but think aloud and then do feedback on that thought to myself.

All the time, but only when I'm alone. I regularly hold conversations between 3-8 characters to practice different voices while I'm driving. It's loads of fun, and as long as you don't do it compulsively, it's not really a problem.

... You have no idea lol. I literally have conversations with certain people in my head. I usually do it when I'm alone and I mostly talk in a loud kind of whisper. These conversations can go on for almost 30 minutes, and most of them are about religion, space and time, my own personally history, a person that's close to me, politics, ect. I've been caught talking to myself a few times by my step brother. He just laughs. I actually remember having a conversation with myself/imaginary person about the Escapist lol :)

Depends on your perspective. I don't talk to myself, but I do talk to the vivid hallucinations I often have.

All the time. I don't have full on conversations with a bunch of different people in my head or anything; it's just me. But I'll talk out loud to myself when I'm trying to remember if I have anything left to do ("Closed the garage door, turned off the oven, did laundry...) or if I've forgotten something (...did I feed the cat? Crap, I had better go check,) or I'm driving to really convince myself of something ("Yes, he was bad for you! You did the right thing! Stop obsessing!"). I talk to myself the same way I'd talk to a friend, so it doesn't surprise me that it's helped you with your confidence. You've started treating yourself as a friend instead of an enemy, so you like yourself more :) There's a quote that I always tell people who tease me for talking to myself: "Talking to yourself is a sign of genius. Answering yourself is a sign of insanity." -Albert Einstein :)

I talk to myself often. Though I mostly do it when I know that no one can hear me. I, by no means, am unable to control it, but I subconsciously often like to do it when I'm alone, and I ponder upon something. I like to act my thoughts out as a dialogue between two people.
Maybe even three.

That sounds pretty weird, but eh.
