No, it doesn't make sense to me either.
The first thing that comes to my mind is Dark Souls, but then I remember that that's technically a JRPG, therefore it must be Girly.IceForce said:Also, please define what you mean by "Real Hardcore" games.
Without further explanation I'll just assume you have certain issues with the opposite sex (as well as JRPG's apparently). To answer your question no I don't mind playing as a woman or someone of color/LGBT/child/alien/etc either for that matter. As long as the game is done right I don't care. If I have a choice I play as a woman usually. Why, you ask? Because I like it that way.Diesel- said:So my friends, do you dislike games where we play as female characters? i dont play games where we play as female characters. i refuse to play such games. Preach it!Phasmal said:Ew, no.
I play ladies at every opportunity.8bitOwl said:I'm trying to figure out if, by chance, this is a not-so-well-disguised troll topic.
Let me put it this way: male privilege. If you don't want to play as a female character in videogames, you can do so. If I don't want to play as a male character in videogames, I might as well change hobby.![]()
I don't mind playing as men. Pretty much all women who play games don't, because they kind of have to a lot of the time. However, I'd like more set lady protagonists. And whenever it's a game with any kind of personalisation/customisation of character, I generally go female for my first playthrough.
Like Doom. where doom guy grab a shotgun fast paced shooter demon in a head. its so badass.Roofstone said:I usually play female characters, if anything because it is more impressive. Sure, I could be a big burly dude fighting away big burly dudes with big and burly big burly dude powers.
Let me know if I've misunderstood anything here, but from what you've been saying, you seem to be implying that women can't be "badass".Diesel- said:Like Doom. where doom guy grab a shotgun fast paced shooter demon in a head. its so badass.Roofstone said:I usually play female characters, if anything because it is more impressive.
