Third party developers for one.

They've been given tons of opportunities to release big games with no Nintendo releases around to alledgedly steal their sales yet all the third parties do is dance around like a modern videogame AI repeatedly hitting their head against the wall and wondering why they can't lift a bus with their nose. Nintendo has already shoved that horse head first into the water and it's still refusing to drink while complaining about thirst.

For all the talk about "casual" gamers there sure don't seem to be many games to show for it. How many "casual" games did Nintendo make? Four? Wii Sports, Play, Fit, Music with two of these being pack-in titles?

I rather like my Wii. It keeps me entertained and I have fun playing the games. Isn't that the truly important thing when owning a gaming console?

Who told you that? Gaming isn't about having fun. It's about defending the console you think is the best to make your boring life more interesting.

I don't have a Wii, but it does have 4-5 exclusives that I'd played which interest me. I just don't wanna drop 250 dollars for a system that's poorly supported aside from shovelware.

It has a few very very excellent titles, but I'd like to see more before I was going to invest in one.

It's a great system with a lot of potential which isn't being used right.

whenever i try going to the wii shop channel, it dosent work for some reason. so no old games to keep me buisy, and no new wii games to look foward to, now, so yeah, sad-face

I'm pretty sure that was a shooped hoax. It does have a remote if you want to use it as a DVD player, however, but it has no motion control.

I think it's an OK system so far. It's got potential, but nobody seems to want to harness it. While there's a lot of crap out for it, the good games are really, really good.

Notably okami.......................I liked the james bond fps because it shows that the wii mote has targeting potential but all the other aspects suck except for the aiming. Any game can be won with some skill and a sniper rifle which leaves the rest down to brains and common sense (No dont walk around that corner with your sniper switch to your fully automatic pistol for gods sake because someone will be right in your face and they WILL kill you).

I am mostly dissapointed that I got one but at the same time I do still play RE4 on it quite a lot and also Wii fit like whenever I have a friend round mine.

I don't hate my Wii, but I am certainly getting bored of it. Sure, no more heroes and mario galaxy were fun, but I beat both of them early last year. I haven't had anything fun to do with it since then.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that I hate it, but I certainly don't like it. The only reason I haven't sold it is because I almost always regret selling consoles. I also like to keep it around as a reminder to think before I impulse buy.

Same here adfest, cept i do go as far as saying that i h8 it! i keep it around cuz i know i'll regret it and it's sumthing to do with frends or siblings... but i have no frends and 3 sisters! my dad's the only person who'll play with me but he ain't dat gud and quits after the first round of evry game saying that he's just making me lose or that evry game's jsut gonna be him dying 30 times!

I love my little Wii. I still play it, and I got it the Christmas of its release. Granted, I haven't got very many games for it, but eh.

Mine is still sitting in the box I packed it in when I moved over a year ago. No games I want for it really. My pc/360/ps3 and hand helds have me covered. Just held on to it with the hopes maybe they will release some more good games, but so far I am not holding my breath.

Well, until yesterday, I might have had said yes. However, I spent a fair bit of the weekend playing House of the Dead Overkill on my Wii, and I had a thoroughly good time... even though my missus was kicking my ass. It's a pretty good game, and the gun peripherals are really well designed and built. There is a fair bit of slowdown at times though.

So I would say No, I still have love for my Wii, we just need some better games for it.

I'm also waiting for Madworld, I'll rent it as I don't think it's going to be a long term type game, probably more like No More Heroes, which I bought and enjoyed for a week or so, but haven't played since.
