I miss silence.

I dont think in my whole life I have ever heard complete silence. There is always some little noise coming from somewhere.

Silence makes me edgy, I have to have some kind of noise going on, even when I sleep. Especially when I sleep.

Total silence? No. But what I do like is the absence of any sound of human origin. On some nights, when the wind is right, the sound of the nearby freeway is completely muffled. Then I just love to sit out of my window and hear nothing but the sound of the trees rustling in the wind. It calms me down.
The only time I want total silence is when I go to sleep.

i like silence if i'm alone. it's a trait i got from being chased around my old school by stupid loud children.

i dislike it if i'm with someone else. it usually means my very limited social skills have run out, and that is almost always a problem.

But seriously I live a busy city. I never hear silence ether it's car's and tram's our my upstair(or next door or the one below me or even the one I look out on) neigbour thinking it is ok to dril a hole in the wall at 5 am on sunday.

I dislike silence when I'm chatting on the nets, and when I have the radio/stereo cranked up past 11. Beyond that, yes, I love silence. Especially when I'm trying to sleep; usually turn on a fan or something to dilute the background noises that would keep me awake otherwise >.>
