Yeah, I like it. I chose it, so I'd best, shouldn't I? Other people seem to like it as well. But I cheated, and have had two names.
My birth name was okay. Not very exciting, but neither was my entire name. I didn't change it because I didn't like it, though. I won't go into the details, but yeah - I like my current name fine, but I'll admit that that has a lot to do with the fact that I got to pick it.
And no, it's nothing stupid or douchy, and I didn't make it up. It's a normal name you've heard before, although come to think of it I haven't met anyone else that goes by it. My significant other says it sounds like a prostitute's name to them, though, which is good for my self-esteem. Incidentally, the only other person with my name I can think of is a porn star with it as their stage name, so... huh.

I brooded over that for a time, then decided to cross reference with a few other sites. That's when I found "God is my Judge" to be a more widespread meaning.
That was more acceptable. While it may, in essence, be the same thing, I like to interpret it as a difference between slavish obeidience and the ultimate freedom.
"Faith in God's Law," to me, meant "I believe that all this religious bullshit is correct and thereby abide by the dictates of conmen with rosaries who have fooled people into believing they can interpret the will of the Divine" (no offence to religious folks here, but I reflexively take issue with any religion being considered "correct"), and so was repugnant.
However, I heard "God is my Judge" as "No man or woman, however high their station, granted by whatever power on this Earth or beyond, has the right to judge me. My actions are between me and The Divine, the rest of the world can burn."
It's lead me to be both very critical of myself, and rather arrogant.
That and Daniel has an almost lyrical quality to it, so I prefer to be called by that. Dan reminds me too much of a bible-thumping uncle of mine (guess why I don't like it), and Danny is... well... it was fine when I was little, but... well hell I'm not that gay.
tl;dr
I like my name, as it means all that I do is between me and the Divine. Everyone else can sit on their thumbs and spin.
Clifford. Little embarasing to say for some reason (slight lack of self confidance, maybe?) but the few other Clifford's I've seen have all been on fairly important looking plaques (or been Cliff Richard... Or one of the lesser known Muppets.) so I kind of like the way that bodes for me. I may end up on a plaque!

The amount of misspellings I have to deal with is incredible. Anyone calls me Debby or Debbie, they die. Debra or Debs is fine. It's ok I suppose, I'm just glad I din't end up with something like "Skyler" or "Krystelle" or something similar.

Michael, usually just go by Mike, though I'm fine with both. As a name, I like it, the only downside being every other Mike I've met has been a bit of a scumbag. My surname on the otherhand. is just awkward, to the point where I'm actually considering changing it back to it's original Scottish version, before it got bastardized.

Don't meet many people with that name, which suits me just fine. Although you'd be amazed at how many people can mispronounce something as simple. Doesn't really matter too much to me as I've never had anyone outside of my family pronounce the whole thing properly. In fact, my username is in part derived from the more common mispronunciation that people made with my surname.
Though, I should probably introduce myself as "Tao, like the ism" a bit more often, maybe that'd make less people mispronounce it.

It may be a common name and I get a few 'Luke, I am your father!' lines from people who think they are extremely witty but I like it. There are certainly worse names out there (for example I hate the names Keith, Gerald and Wayne).
I wouldn't change my name. A short name is better than a long one for sure and you can't get much shorter than 4 letters.
Edit: Also it means 'Bringer of Light' so that's pretty awesome!
