Online radio. A station called Classic FM [http://classicfm.nl/], it's good music and the only advertisement I know of is when I start the web player.
Good station.

I used to listen to choice FM's certain shows (like Jenny Francis), basically the stuff that didn't regurgitate the same shit over and over. But I haven't listened to the radio since September (when I quit my summer job).

Every day. My radio presets are sports talk radio, NPR, 70's-00's music, smooth jazz, and 2 "easy listening" stations (for the missus)

I listen to radio 1 most days. No ad breaks is a god send. I dont listen to local radio because the adds drive me mad.

When coming home from a gig or fight We tend to listen to the shipping report in the early hours. Its a British institution and has become a ritual.

Real Fm player radio only nowadays. I can't stand DJs, commercials, or talking getting in the way of my music. Those old radio shows (kinda like an audio only tv)rock I found out so I'll look those up from time to time.

While I'm getting ready for work in the mornings, I listen to NPR's Morning Edition followed by Marketplace and finally the Writers' Almanac with Garrison Keillor. On weekends, I'll sometimes put on NPR when I'm not feeling like music.

I find music to be more digestable in the afternoon.

Radio isn't dead; you're just that young.

There is some excellent radio to be found, but you usually have to either look online or do a wee bit of research about the stations. College/Uni radio stations are often pretty good for music as they usually have quite a broad range of specialists, admittedly there is some crap on there (as most people on these stations have less than 3 years experience) but that can be part of the fun as it can be a lot less orthodox.

I'm still on student radio myself so I find it interesting to read peoples opinions. If I'm honest I stopped listening to radio for many years because I got sick of adverts, cheesy/vapid presenters and a lazy playlist. But there really is much more out there.

The highlight of the radio WORLD occurred the other night. I was doing a 36 hour radio show for Comic Relief and had a Skype interview with Shanks and Lund of Doomsday Arcade 'fame.' I'll podcast it another time.

So yeah, please know that there IS good radio out there. The more people who listen to it, the more likely that other people will take note. By completely ignoring it as an entertainment medium, the smaller stations will struggle and the big ones that are (mostly) crap will carry on. Examples of people with good radio shows? Sorry lame self plug http://www.myspace.com/AndyValeRadio

I also tried to get an interview with Yahtzee. He never replied. I haven't hit the dizzying heights yet.

At work they put Kerrang Radio on for background noise but the songs are alwasy the same, at first i thought i was just a cd on shuffle and repeat and had to ask after a few weeks if it was actaully the radio, as about 5 weeks had passed and exactly the same songs were still being played.
We play our own music over it instead

I also wake up to it. I always listen to Adam and Joe's radio show on 6 music on saturdays, and Jon Richardson's show on sunday.
Other radio stations are available.

I have a good local radio station in town called bob FM. They asked the local town citizens what they wanted to name it, and the most postcards sent in had the name BOB on them. So they did. They've been entirely nuts since, but it's fun.
