I heard tons of good stuff about FFVII. So much that I even tried it. It was my first JRPG I think, also my last, on an unrelated note. Anyway, the graphics were to much of a turn off for me, in this modern day of age. If it were to be remastered (FOR THE PC, ffs), then I'd certainly play it.

Personally, MGS1 should be re-mastered but not sure bout FFVII.

I would definitely play the remake assuming it would have the epic graphics of todays day and age. A FF9 remake would be nice too.

I'd much rather they made new ones rather tan remake old ones, i mean there are enough remakes for GBA and DS already. I'd much prefer they spent more time making a game that is as visually and concepually stunning as XIII, but free roam, like XII.

Well in a way they should do it for this reason as FFVII would finally get to rest in piece and Square can stop butchering my favourite game.

No because if it was made other fans would want their prefered FF remastered to current gen standard. I just wish they would let the game die and stop ruining it and making people hate it.

I'm so sick and tired of the fanboys. It's the fanboys fault that Advent Children sucked so much ass. Don't you fanboys think you have done enough to Square Enix? You aren't in any position to be asking for remakes of anything.

Actually I think it is more pop culture that ruined Advent Children. While yes FFVII is over rated I don't think it is as over rated as some other things but it is up there because of over zealous fan boys.

Of course not.

FF7 was a game that was made that people enjoyed. Any remake will be a shallow move to recapture what I suspect is a mixture of mass nostalgia and fanboy drooling.

Being hung up on FF7 is like never letting go of the first relationship you've ever had. Time to move on and play something else.
