I didn't know of this until now... Hackers gonna hack, what is unfortunate is that they did something like this, honestly if they had just said "we, Fox News, are a bunch of &^#**#&#*&($((#$#@$#!!!" then I would support them, but this is causing panic selfishly, some people...
Actually, I think FOX news network is run by and for the republicans, they wouldn't be panicking, they'd be hella celebrating...

Hmm, I suppose you are right, it is Fox News... Poor foxes, getting such a crappy News Network named after them, what did foxes ever do?

In most other countries FOX news is listed as a comedy show. Does anyone in the states take them seriously?

They bashed the bronies. There were bound to be hacked and humilliated.
Just more fuel for the Daily show then.

Whoever did this deserves a hi five from me. Hey, at least it's better than the crap that Fox News normally comes out with. It's kind of sad that I can say that without the use of sarcasm.

Oh, Fox. Don't underestimate them, escapist users, they are a solid, mostly-respectable, mostly-unbiased network. They seem to have two major problems right now: one, hackers hacking their stuff hacktastically. And two: Jon Stuart and other douchey 'comedian' liars who hate it for no legitimate reason and twist and spin everything about Fox to make it look like some homophobic, redneck channel when it's really anything but.

And unfortunately, the gaming 'community'--like most communities--consists mostly of sheep who run headfirst into whatever the flock is running into, no matter how wrong it is. And since it looks like 90% of the comments on this page say something negative about Fox News (even though that's not really what this topic is about, but whatever), it's safe for me to assume that you, the person reading this comment right now, is one of those sheep.

It doesn't matter how witty your insult to the network was, it doesn't matter how snarky your response is to me, and how many well-versed insults you throw at me, and how many two minute, out-of-context clips from some Fox show you embed; if you honestly believe that Fox News is pure racist, bigoted hate mongering, or even a pile of pure idiots all with the same political agenda, you are wrong and nothing you say can change that.

But of course, there's probably at least a 40% chance that you don't really honestly believe that. You just look around at all the other comments and--understandably--don't want to be the only one on the other side. How will you withstand all the snarky replies?? The clever comments?? The insultive sentences of sting??! You'll be pulverized under the sheer force of other people being so illogical and emotion-based that they can flip reality on its side to make it look the way they want! How can you survive that? Well, by sticking it out.
You see, weakness, faulty logic and lies are like darkness. Sound logic, reason and intelligence is like light. And the light always defeats and replaces the darkness. Always.

Hey, good point! I suppose something like Jon Stuart's actual show would be like a black whole, yeah. Since he (and the people behind the camera) are in control of the show, they can do whatever they want and nothing can stop them.

That's really a good observation. It's exactly what he does, too. You know, with Fox News? He, his writers and his producers take what that channel says, edits it however he wants, boils it down and sucks it all away into darkness. Which people like some of the Escapist users will then spew back out at me, giving me a really hard time to be proud of being a 'gamer'.

I always love to read stories about Fox News on this site. All the comments are so laughably predictable. "Faux News is the Great Satan of the media, while all the others are undeserving of my scorn because they're left-wing, er I mean unbiased."
I MUST acknowledge the people acting upon sanity when they enter this website, and so, I acknowledge you! Good work, sir. Have a cookie.

What it all this about "me being a gamer" ? I thought this was a discussion about the credibility of Fox News (It ALWAYS ends up as this anyway)

You have a point, but then you loose it when you use your anger instead of your logical sense. Much like the haters you seek to convince.

Well all the other people, spewing all this crap, are gamers. And they're probably spewing said crap largely because they are gamers, and therefore feel the need to over-defend themselves to the point of being wrong. And that bothers me. I want to play games, but I don't want to be a part of that.

I know. I know. I'm pissed off. How can you not be? I don't even care if I loose my point or not. Just, forget about me and focus on the issue itself.

I can see the FOX conspiracy nuts waking up now saying "Obama did die, but then the government covered it up and forced FOX to delete the tweet and then the government forced all news organizations to report falsified news to the world. And the person we see as Obama now on is an alien created by Aliens who are being controlled by oil capitalistic corporations what are being led by Jewish bankers."

Hmm... I am sure that there is at least 10 people who think like that, somewhere deep in southwest end of America.

I'd love to see President Obama make a public statement along the lines of; "Some of you may have heard that I was assassinated. You would have heard this from Fox News' Twitter feed. Why would you believe this?"

so... nothing changed when Fox lost control of its accounts?

With the requirement that they never get stories right in the first place, putting more bullshit doesn't affect anything.

Or, is he...
Maybe he is dead and taken over by the ghost of Joseph Stalin.
