Wasn't Doom 3 pretty much a reboot? So are they rebooting it again then?
They're having to reboot the reboot. Unfortunately Doom-3-Guy was shown a tac-light by a well meaning programmer and, well, there was an 'episode'.
I have no idea what you mean by that. "tac-light?" I don't understand. What "episode?"
Wow, you know you've been funny when you have to explain a joke. :/

'Tac-light' or tactical light, the name given to the small flashlights attached to modern firearms.
'Episode' or a tactful reference to an unpleasant situation.

Referencing the Doom 3 game mechanic of being either able to wield a flashlight or a firearm, the implication being that when faced with the ability to do both Doom-3-guy completely flips out.

Guess I shouldn't give up my day job.

I know what "episode" means. I didn't know that any "unpleasant situation" *sarcastic air quotes* had occurred with Doom 3.
Also I've never heard that term for a flashlight before, ok?

Look, I made a off-hand comment supposed to raise a smile, not raise some hackles. Sorry if you've been put out of joint.

Let me know when they acutally have something to show. Like gameplay.
Pre-rendered cutscenes and rehashes of old IP aren't worth getting excited about.
