Wasn't Doom 3 pretty much a reboot? So are they rebooting it again then?

They're having to reboot the reboot. Unfortunately Doom-3-Guy was shown a tac-light by a well meaning programmer and, well, there was an 'episode'.

'Tac-light' or tactical light, the name given to the small flashlights attached to modern firearms.
'Episode' or a tactful reference to an unpleasant situation.

Referencing the Doom 3 game mechanic of being either able to wield a flashlight or a firearm, the implication being that when faced with the ability to do both Doom-3-guy completely flips out.

Guess I shouldn't give up my day job.
