Yeah I found Alistairs' character to be quite relate-able actually. Try putting yourself in his position during the game dialogue and maybe you'll understand why he was defensively sarcastic or negative in a lot of situations.gmaverick019 said:alistair was actually my favorite besides morrigan, his "emo pansy bitchness" came from his sarcasm, and slight laziness, he was in no way emo or a panzy, considering he is a bamf grey warden, your opinion thoSnootyEnglishman said:Make Alister less of a whiny ass emo pansy ***** and i'll be good. Graphics don't bother me in the slightest.
and yeah who is complaining so much about graphics? if its a good game (which it was, i haven't been dissapointed by bioware) then mostly i could care less about graphics, they have always been fine, if your looking for graphics go watch transformers or something

I play this game on a moderately crappy PC. I was surprised and delighted, since I can't even play Mass Effect on this thing, that it would even play. The graphics I see can't be very hot; I'm certain the game looks better on most PC's.roffelito said:how about working on believable, realistic gestures, facial expressions and just basic movement in general?? no matter how good graphics may be, if characters are moving around stiff as a mannequin, it's all just a waste of pixels.
Animation, facial expression quality is part of the graphics quality, as is art direction. If hes talking about "super hot graphics" he doesn't mean only higher resolution textures and high polygon characters, actually it's harder to make low res texture look good than high res texture.roffelito said:how about working on believable, realistic gestures, facial expressions and just basic movement in general?? no matter how good graphics may be, if characters are moving around stiff as a mannequin, it's all just a waste of pixels.
Fairly Cliché? Are you high? It was almost exactly the same as Lord of the Rings just without a ring. Just look at it.Heart of Darkness said:How about an original story first, updated graphics second? Good point. I just think this seems very un-BioWare like, but mind you, Mass Effect 2 constantly reminds you about Mass Effect 3.Eclpsedragon said:It's not rude of Bioware to shove out a sequel just a few months after release. Maybe I'm being a baby, but it bothers me, okay?
Although, BioWare's Neverwinter Nights has conditioned me into pressing the TAB key anytime I'm looking for an NPC, or a usable item, so it might just be me on this one.
I don't know why they're talking about Dragon Age 2, it seems a bit "rude". For a start, DA:O's been out just a few months. Secondly, the expansion is on its way and thirdly the whole mess they made of DLC. I'd rather BioWare focused on optimisation (ME2 ran and looked amazing) of the engine rather than "super hot visuals". Dragon Age's were fine and I don't really think they need to be updated.
"Fairly" is just my way of saying "I didn't get any farther than 15 hours into the game before I stopped playing." So, from my experience with the game, I can't say the game was heavily clichéd.Jaranja said:Fairly Cliché? Are you high? It was almost exactly the same as Lord of the Rings just without a ring. The graphics were fine. Although, the one thing that bothered me was the framerate at times.
